Top 9 Campgrounds in Cyclades, Greece

April 28, 2023 Moriah Teneyck

The Cyclades is a group of Greek islands with beautiful, white sandy beaches, rugged mountains and lush valleys. Glamorous Santorini and Mykonos attract the jetset, while lesser-known isles, such as Milos and Naxos, are the perfect places for beach lovers. Ruins, including the 11th-century Dorian settlement and volcanic ash-preserved Ancient Akrotiri in Santorini, amaze those with a bent for ancient history. Sifnos' cuisine wins it admirers. Hydrofoils, ferries and catamarans connect the islands.

Really really overrated place! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... the food options are limited and the place is not that fun as it seems! Although i think, whether there is an event going on, the things are so much better...

No kitchen

Reviewed By juliettewillis

Good value for money and good location on the beach! But there is no kitchen apart from a fridge which is very misleading! There are also no provided sheet to cover you (there is a bottom sheet and pillow though) so be sure to bring some! Mostly cold showers (which wasn’t that bad because we were so hot all the time) and the tents are so close together we could hear everything (including lots of arguments)! The campsite owner is absolutely lovely however and helpful! I would advise staying no more than 3 nights for a moderately enjoyable stay.

Very nice place

Reviewed By Lesley J

Stayed here in September for two weeks, very nice rooms, plenty space, cleaned daily. Family run place, breakfast served outdoors daily, basic Greek breakfast, yoghurt, honey jam, cereal, bread eggs. Eating on site is very nice, reasonable and serves cheapest beer, you have choice of eating in restaurant or on beach in evening. Vey quiet area, beach lovely and quite a few tavernas nearby, bus runs every half hour, nice walk to next small village which is bit more lively.

Good location but very dirty

Reviewed By Weirdlena W

The camping is very well located, in Mylopotas beach. It is quiet, has trees for shade and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the bathrooms are disgusting. I stayed there for for nights and they were never cleaned. Trash, leaves and soil were all over the showers (that were quite dysfunctional- 2/10 worked properly). I would not expect special amenities from a camping, but a decent bathroom is always appreciated.

Quiet but very clean camping

Just re-started this camping a 8 month ago, and already made it a relaxing place. Toilets and kitchen are cleaned 3x a day! Ask anything and the landlady will help you! Price is reasonable to cheap! Not all places are shaded. Lots of space per tent/campers. Kitchen is equipped with fridge and cooking equipment. Just 20 minutes walk from Naousa center, 5 minutes to the beach and nearest taverna.

Paradise Beach Camping

Camping de festival

Reviewed By javimateob
