Ubon Ratchathani (Thai: อุบลราชธานี, pronounced [ʔubon râːt.tɕʰa.tʰaːniː]) is one of the four major cities of Isan (Khorat/Nakhon Ratchasima, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, and Khon Kaen), also known as the "big four of Isan". The city is on the Mun River in the south-east of the Isan region of Thailand. It is known as Ubon (อุบลฯ) for short. The name means "royal lotus city". The provincial seal features a pond with a lotus flower and leaves in a circular frame. Ubon was the administrative centre of Ubon Ratchathani Province. As of 2006, the Ubon urban area had a population of about 200,000. This included 85,000 in Thetsaban Nakhon Ubon Ratchathani (Ubon municipality), 30,000 each in Thetsaban Mueang Warin Chamrap (Warin municipality) and Thetsaban Tambon Kham Yai, 24,000 in Thetsaban Tambon Saen Suk, 10,000 in each of Thetsaban Tambon Pathum and Tambon Kham Nam Saep, and 6,000 in Thetsaban Tambon Ubon.

This is the second branch of PENSER in Ubonratchatani. This cafe is located in Ratchatani University, just opposite of Central Plaza. This cafe is a giant yellow container with the cozy interior. I mean, it looks small but very comfy.This place is great for working on the report (There isn't any socket for the extension lead if you want to plug in your pc but you can bring your own adapter and you can sit as long as you like until the cafe close (7 pm)), chatting with group of friends or just chilling out alone with nice drinks and excellent service. The owner was very friendly and polite. I love the latte here. It tastes awesome! no bitterness at all and the milk form was so silky smooth with the beautiful latte art. This place is worth visiting and I'll definitely be returning to try out the ice cream menu this summer.

Auf der Suche nach etwas Schatten und ein erfrischendes Getränk haben wir dieses kleine gemütliche Cafe gefunden. Wer Lemon Ice Thai Tea liebt sollte den hier trinken! Eine kleine, feine Auswahl an süssen Snacks wie z.B. Strudel mit Ananasfüllung (lecker) sowie einge Thai-Gerichte komplettieren das Angebot. Der Walking-Streetmarkt beginnt in unmittelbarer Nähe und somit idealer Treffpunkt um vorab noch ein guten Espresso oder erfrischenden Thai-Tea zu genieÃen. Uns hat das gepflegte und ordentliche Ambiente, sowie das freundliche Personal (Inhaber?) Sehr gut gefallen und empfehlen dieses Cafe jederzeit. Das nette freundliche Personal (Inhaber?) verstehen und sprechen englisch.

I stopped by this shop for a cup of latte and nice coconut cake in the rainy day. Enjoy the chic and unique souvenirs which carefully selected by the owners who an artists and help promoting the authentic hand-made stuffs from the locals.The cake and coffee were great.

I rate on a curve, with more 3-pip ratings than anything else. And I tend to have little love for chains. However, Swensens in Thailand IMHO is rather better than, say, Swensens in Singapore or North America. Better prices, pleasant service, always something on promotion, etc. This outlet could be considered typical - including its location on the periphery of an anchor store.

Industrial minimalist interior makes for a refreshing atmosphere. They use a dark, strong roast. They have 2 or more interesting drinks not found at most other coffee shops (e.g. viennese coffee) and present deconstructed drinks. Their opening times are not always clear.

I decided to pop round to this charming, centrally located establishment one morning after a session at the gym. The cappuccino worked an absolute treat! On top of this you've got an impressive range of memorabilia and Tour de France books to peruse through at your leisure. Service was swift and with a smile. The atmosphere was convivial with some chilled out tunes providing a solid backdrop to the calm atmosphere.My only slight gripe is the amount of space; it's a bit small and prove a bit cosy for families, but overall a very chic and innovative business worthy of paying a visit!

When ever I am in Ubon I always try and get to this place at least once for breakfast. My last visit was after a 10km run through the streets of Ubon with my brother dodging crazy dogs and a very crazy locals as well!The Khao Dtom soup is always briallant and a perfect way to start the day. The place is always heaving with customers and it is an amazing place to people watch.Good food, cheap and with free entertainment. Why wouldn't you go?
