Dine inside Samford's old Uniting Church - a converted rainforest cafe garden with colourful stained glass windows, mosaics and sculptures galore. Taste chef's seasonal menu of produce from the veggie patch out back washed down with wine and craft beers.
We have been here twice for breakfast in the last month , last time was 7 of us.The air temperature was cold, as we sat outside, but they had heaps of blankets that just made it fun.The coffees were hot and brewed perfectly. We had a mixtuee of lactose free, skim and full creme, every coffee was correct. All sorts of breakfasts from simple to eggs Benedict to a full (and it was BIG) breakfast. We all are to our hearts content. It was VERY full so make sure you book ahead. Toilets were clean, tables were clean, plenty of staff. Perfect!

Had the privelage of dropping into this fine establishment for a meal and coffee late on a mid-week afternoon. It's not often that I visit a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: great location and atmosphere, great food, great coffee, and exceptional service. Jak & Hill delivers on all of these. The coffee was one of the best I have had in Brisbane and the Wagyu beef burger was possibly the best burger I have ever eaten! Well done Jak & Hill!

We have only ever heard great reviews about this cafe and we finally decided to try it for our anniversary lunch. If you want a great coffee, this is the place. I had the best cappuccino in a long time with the creamiest froth, and the perfect temp. The menu caters for many dietary needs, is really good value and the kitchen transitions seamlessly between the breakfast and lunch menu times. The perfection is in the location and atmosphere. Itâs away from the busy esplanade, offers incredible bay and glass house mountain views. You have the option of enjoying your meal and drinks under the big fig trees or undercover if you prefer. Plenty of space between tables and is wheelchair and dog friendly. This licensed cafe was doing a great trade midweek at lunch time and Iâm sure they handle the weekend trade just as well. Overall a really pleasant experience we would love to repeat.

There is a relaxed, comfortable ambiance that greets you when you enter this little cafe in the leafy suburb of Graceville. There is some rather interesting art on the walls that make for good conversation. A painting of a cow on the beach fostered a lot of discussion! For brunch I chose bacon and poached eggs, accompanied by a mug of strong black coffee. Everything tasted delicious. It was a pity to see the the "goodness gracious" breakfast was no longer on the menu, but there were still some good choices.

A large group of us had brunch here for a Xmas breakup and I would thoroughly recommend Cicada. All of the meals looked delicious. The coffee was good and the service was excellent. Thank you to the staff for looking after us!

Deliciously fresh, handmade Italian. New look menu with more dishes to try. Come in and meet Leo and his friendly staff for the best Italian experience in New Farm, Brisbane. We now have our liquor license with a range of wines, beers, spirits and cocktai
Traditional Italian restaurant in Brunswick Street Fortitude Valley/New Farm.Smallish venue with two separate dining areas. Typical basic Italian decor and seating.Menu choices as to be expected. Service was friendly. Food, on the night we dined, was average. The Owner/chef spoke very highly of his food but unfortunately we did not share his opinion. The restaurant is fully licensed but BYO wine is permitted however it is limited to one bottle and a charge of $15 is levied. The restaurant wine list is very limited and the quality of the wine offered is very poor eg Yellow Tail !There are many other Italian restaurants to choose from and unfortunately I must say I would not hurry back to this establishment.Hello Trevor, thank you so much for your feedback. Our BYO is currently $5 per person (we have had this price for quite a few months now). Could we ask you which day you were in so we can check what went wrong please? we value everyone's comments and would like to improve any point mentioned. We look forward to receiving your email [email protected]

Wow what an absolute treat it was to eat at this buzzing Vietnamese cafe. No wonder the place was absolutely packed for a Saturday lunch. The food is amazing and so authentic, and the prices are super reasonable. There is everything here from banh mi on the lightest roll ever, to curry to generous bowls of noodle soup brimming with flavour. One of our friends ordered the large bowl and it was enormous so unless you can eat enough for several people the standard size is recommended and will probably still be challenging.A fantastic experience and donât be daunted by the queue for a table. It moves along reasonably quickly and the food is definitely worth the wait.

Putia Pure Food Kitchen is a restaurant, pantry and cooking school. Putia, meaning corner store in Sicilian, is a rustic alfresco restaurant with a focus on creating pure taste sensations using fresh, quality, locally sourced and sustainable produce.
$64 For breakfast is way over priced.Coffee and food were good but not worth $$$. Very inconsistent with serving sizes between meals. Big breakfast good size for $ but eggs Benedict at $24 For 1 slice of bread, avo and 2 eggs left husband hungry. Also said more like a white sauce rather than hollandaise. Most disappointing though is that having an allergy menu becomes very restrictive when they won't allow substitution. But happy to remove $8 item and add $4 and charge for addition still. I understand not allowing substitution all the time but allergies already make my dining experience difficult. So due to this won't be back. It's obviously busy and won't miss my patronage but warning to others you may leave disappointed. Dear OpinionATThank you for your review. You are quite right, there is a difference in size between the BIG Breakfast and the Putia benedict due to the different ingredients in each dish. The big breakfast is the most substantial mean on the menu. Many of our customers tell us that they have allergies and our staff talk to them about menu options that might work for them. I appreciate the difficulty you may often have in choosing a suitable dish. For this reason, there is a basic menu choice of eggs on toast to which you can then add sides that are agreeable with you. Perhaps that would have worked better for you than the Big breakfast. Having said that, I can assure you that your feedback, e.g in relation to the sauce, is appreciated and has been considered by the kitchen team. regards Dominique
