I should have been here before but it is a bit tricky to park nearby. Make the effort though because this lovely cafe is clean and bright, the staff lovely, and most importantly thefood is great. I had a ham and cheese omelette and chips that was the best I have ever had. A nice juicy omelette, not dry, with lovely chips. My only comment, that is NOT a criticism really, is that the portions are rather large, and since I hate to see waste I had to sleep it off all afternoon. Thanks

Stopped here for a light lunch & drinks , delicious as always. We had a lovely , freshly made cheese & tomato pannini and a pie, mash & liquor (lots of other choices too ).Quick , friendly service as always. Very clean cafe with inside & outside seating areas and very reasonably priced.Our favourite place !!!!!

2 Beeches Avenue is a great place to visit if you are looking for a great selection of wines, lovely food and wonderful service. Whether it is a section of their meat and cheese, something from the specials menu or just a glass of something cold in the sunshine it is definitely worth a visit.

Brunch at Yew Cafe today with my hubbyâs sister and her husband.. we had scrambled eggs with tomatoes and mushroom on artisan bread, falafel wrap and cheese and beef sandwich, carrot and lemon cakes as well as lattes and cappuccinos. Everything was fresh, delicious and nicely presented. This is a little gem, it gives you a bit of the experience of some of those trendy cafes in Borough Market or Shoreditch but without the price tag.

I visited a few months ago and just had a bacon roll and coffee. Following recent media attention I came back with my wife for breakfast and was not disappointed. They do three versions of a full English breakfast, and I opted for the middle one, my wife chose scrambled egg on toast. I had coffee, my wife chose a fruit tea.The service was the same as before, i.e. excellent, and the food was freshly cooked and delicious.Value for money was 10/10, and they could put up their prices and it would still be better than some other local establishments.Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.Dear 4ChordsNoNet,Thank you very much for your review. Have been going to Roast&Ground since 2010. Small and friendly. The lovely staff are friendly and welcoming and always use my name. They take reservations as they are very busy during lunch times. Never had a bad meal in there. The coffee is always hot unlike Costa! And they have a wide range of home made food on offer. Highly recommend

We hired Dotty's to host our wedding reception and we couldn't have been more pleased. Lana, the Manager, helped to make our day perfect for us. The tables looked amazing and the food was delicious. Our guests commented on how attentive the staff were too, making sure they were all looked after. We even had a last minute stand in guest who turned out to be gluten and dairy intolerant but this didn't faze them at all! Many thanks to Dotty's for all you did for us on our special day!

This is our Saturday morning treat. Whether you want breakfast or lunch your meal will be made up from quality produce and great value for money. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is excellent. This place gets busy for a reason, because itâs good!

Weâve always been to GF for their great brunches, never disappointed. Six of us went for dinner Friday night and it was just as good. We all tried nearly everything on the menu, I had the Melon and crispy prosciutto to start and lamb rump for main. Lamb was delicious and beautifully cooked. 2 of our party had mackerel starter which I tried and was lovely, not overpowering as mackerel can be sometimes. And bring your own booze is fantastic, makes this a great value evening and if you run out just nip out as get some more! I always prefer a short menu, demonstrates produce is fresh and much rather have that than a long usually unachievable list of random dishes. Really great addition to Wallington in the evenings and great to have local independent businesses. Looking forward to going back next week with more friends!
