Great, locally-sourced food (on a 4-day holiday we went twice!); unique beer to the region. Ask Gregor for a "hillbilly" sandwich and you are guaranteed return for more - especially if you get the extra cheese! Had a muffin and blueberry cake which were also top notch. Awesome mountain views, just across the street from the ferry boat. This place is a strong recommendation, has a great vibe. We look forward to returning - again!

After a very disappointing experience at the Naturfreundehaus in Stoos yesterday, I was a bit sceptical today before entering the Wildis Café in Morschach. I was overwhelmed! The service is very friendly, there's a nice playing area for children inside, the food is very good! We'll be back there soon!

Across from the school is this small cafe / bakery. Ww like the personal service from the staff as only locals and teachers stop in here. Ask for the coffee card that gives you a free coffee after ten bought, good at all cafe Hauger in Uri.

Compared to the other coffee shops in town, this one is quieter and a bit more relaxed. The coffee is the same all over town, same price, same beans. So if you are looking for something not so hectic. Then head here. From the Telldenkmall head up Schmidtgasse it's on the right side.

The Confiserie is known for its house made chocolates, pralines, and other sweets. All of which can be bought in the small shopfront on Schmidtgasse, walking in past the shop is a larger cafe where many locals stop in for a "coffee cream".The biggest and busiest, most expensive coffee shop in town.
