We got married Jan 30,2021, during Covid Pandemic, Kim &Kathy were amazing; and everything with the planning was simple and stress free Kim&Kathy followed all govt protocols We were nervous about the weather being Jan; as we were to get married outside, but when we arrived; the sun came out; the birds were singing; and it turned out to be a beautiful day We were absolutely amazed with the quaint, intimate location; the little log cabin is so cute; and made amazing background pictures. The vows..were amazing; special; I felt like they were written for us. It was just prefect. The photos we rec'd were amazing; I cant say enough things about our experience. The snow; and the frozen river behind us; there were kids skating and playing hockey in the distance; just made the pictures even better. Their list of preferred vendors is a great tool. I did book Maria for makeup; two days before the wedding; and she was very accommodating. Here's a couple of pictures to show Elope Niagara's Photography quality We would highly recommend checking out Elope Niagara for your upcoming wedding. Kim & Kathy will work with you. I'm glad we opted out of having a big wedding; and married at Elope Niagara. I couldnt of dreamed of a better day and location Thank you again Kim and Kathy for making our day so special

It was terrific. The guide was amazing, the old fort so interesting. You go inside and learn all the history, and it is spooky with the narrative. Cookies and a hot cider provided. What took us so long to see this? It was wonderful. Guy Fox was burned. So interesting. Thank you Niagara Parks Commission for doing this evening.

The museum is a perfect place to learn about the numerous battles that were fought along the Niagara River and other battlefields in the Niagara region. It is very well maintained with some good displays.

My husband and I attended a performance by Alex Cuba and his band on January 24. I had never been here before but love small venues where you can see the interaction of the musicians and singers and well as participate, as I am wont to do. We were delighted with the seats we snagged, first row center. Then we were amazed by the sound put out by the band and the great acoustics that made us tingle. There is a small brewery downstairs and the staff was helpful and fun. I would definitely return to this venue for another concert (especially if Alex Cuba was playing again). Great evening. Thank you, Sanctuary!

The Fort Erie Race Track offers live thoroughbred racing twice a week from the end of May to mid October. The venue offers a number of food and beverage stands, including the track side Tiki Bar and the Turfside Dining Room, open every race day. Live musical entertainment, farmers' market, free concerts and special events add to the excitement of a day at the races. Opened in 1897, the historic border oval has one of the most picturesque infields in North America. Parking and admission are always free.
Another great day at the track yesterday! We've been regulars the past 4 years and used to go on occasion even before that. It is such a relaxed environment for a great day of racing. We love how you can stand at the rail and watch the horses close up before, during and after the race. Lots of snack options and we usually grab a cheeseburger or fries from the truck. The live entertainment by the Tikki Bar is great and adds to the experience. We have been at this track twice this season and have been happy to see there have been 7 or 8 races as last year we noticed once or twice there were only 6! We hope to enjoy this track for years to come! So if you are reading this, get out and support the Fort Erie Race Track!

My grandkids, husband and I really enjoyed our day at Safari Niagara. They have a good variety of activities, and you can ride the train all around the park if you wish to. You can take a picnic lunch, or purchase lunch there. It was a really fun day.

Crossing the peace bridge in Fort Erie and Buffalo was very easy. We had no problem with security and the staff was very friendly. No problems with construction going or returning back to Canada. Toll road on I-90 in New York cost $ 3.15 American each way from Buffalo to the Pennsylvania border and back.

COVID-19 UPDATE | Fort Erie is temporarily restricting access to Bay Beach (also known as Crystal Beach) and limiting patron capacity in 2021. To access Bay Beach this summer, beachgoers must present an eligible Bay Beach pass (restrictions apply) as well as proof of residency such as a driver’s licence.
We have visited the town of Cristal Beach twice in the past couple of years for our summer vacation. Cute, quiet little place with a handful of restaurants and shops. We rented a cottage by the 'dog beach', overlooking the lake ... and just loved it. Just a very short drive to the main beach where we usually hung out. A very spacious beach with soft sand and plenty of space to play ball or just relax. Enjoyed it immensely and we will be going back in the near future.
