Once you walk down the stairs for approx 5 minutes, you will find a small bay with fine sand and turquoise water, perfect for sun bathing and swimming. Price for renting sunbeds+umbrellas is 2,5 Euro each.Enjoy!

The harbour in Agia Napa remains a lovely place to visit. No huge hotels too close, no ultra modern restaurants, still some traditional places, only one franchised place nearby which is ocean basket but plenty of traditional fish places to eat as well as traditional Cypriot eateries. Plenty of boat trips of different genres including the Black Pearl which although expensive, is awesome especially for kids of all ages and especially of you are up on the pirates of the carriibean movies. Lovely at all times of the day and night to walk around. Oh and there is a nice beach to the side. If you are in Agia Napa definitely go for a stroll and to the back of the harbour car park, there is a new walkway that goes for a couple of miles along the beach which is just lovely to wander down. (It runs parallel to Nissi Avenue). Plenty of seating along the way if you need a break. Again I’d recommend a nice walk. Night times can be very romantic for couples to stroll the harbour area and or the walkway.

I think the flamingos are getting ready to move on but it was just beautiful having them here and of course they will be back next November.

We are just back from a visit to the lake. Every Monday between the 1st of November and the 31st March 10.15 to 12.30 there is a free bird watching session followed by a basket weaving and cookery demonstration. Yiota was a brilliant enthusiastic bird guide she obviously loves the lake and its birdlife. Even though she got upset as a Marsh Harrier tried to kill a duck for its breakfast! This was followed by a basket making and cookery demo by Petros who was an equally good host not trying to force us to buy anything (although we did) and showing us how to make Olive savouries. he had lots of samples that he had made earlier to give away. Thanks to both of them for a great experience.

Second visit to this lovely area. November. This time the Flamingos where there. 1000s of them . My wife was ecstatic. As last visit we didn’t see any. Must go to the visitors centre they have some great exhibits and binoculars to see the Flamingos. If your lucky may even see fighter jets landing at airfield. A great stop off for all the family.
