Cosy, clean and comfortable private rooms in the city center. We are just 10 minutes walking distance from the Presidential Palace and Tatik Papik monument, and 5 minutes walking distance from the bus station to Yerevan and all directions. Hi speed Wi-fi is available in all rooms. Fully equipped communal kitchen. BBQ facilities in our back garden. Living room with a fireplace.
Arriving in the hostel I got greeted from Karine and sat down in the lovely backyard with a welcoming tea pot in the october sun, and decided to stay for a few extra days. This was on a Thursday and I informed Karine that my birthday was on Saturday. "We will make a BBQ for you". Happily I said I wanted to include the other guests and pay for the meat. We agreed that her husband and I would do the meat shopping the following day, and they would prepare the rest. Returning from the excursion the following day Karine informed me that the meat was already marinated. They told me not to worry! I asked how many people that would stay in the hostel the following day, and the response was - no bookings so far.... The following day, my birthday, they said they were expecting a few Armenian guests and a couple of foreigners. Great - we´re not alone.... I took a local bus to a neighbouring city called Shushi and hitchhiked back with a wedding caravan of cars. I was driven straight to the entrance. Then the host immideately started preparing the BBQ, and I said hello to a couple of other guests and invited them to the BBQ. Fantastic food, fantastic company, loads of vodka and wine. The lovely Regina went out to buy a birthday cake (which was neither cut or eaten beore the day after thanks to the vodka). Two days later on departure it was impossible to pay for anything else than accomodation. I can not reccomend a place to stay in this world more than this! LOVE YOU! vegard

Old mattress with coils protruding. Pillows like sand bags. Hard. Couldn’t sleep at all. Staff have attitude and not friendly at all. Outdated rooms and bathroom condition poor. Breakfast poor compared to other places in the region.

From May 20 to July 12 we were in the hotel NAIRI in Stepanakert. The hotel is located in a nice area, next to the church. If you look down, you see a beautiful city landscape among the mountains. The hotel area is not very big, there is a children's playground with an artificial lawn, swimming pool ( it did not work while we were staying there). Next to the entrance area there are tables where, in good weather, we were allowed to have breakfast with children-this is an indescribable pleasure-breakfast with such a gorgeous view!!! The dining room in the hotel is also good, the food is varied and original (pancakes made from pita bread stuffed with rustic cheese and cottage cheese, eggs (scrambled eggs and boiled), jam with butter and lavash are yummy) !!! There is aTV in the room (we did not watch it, there was no time), shower, there is also a boiler, so the water is hot. The halls are very safe (my youngest daughter was only learning to walk and it was important for me than ever), there are carpets everywhere. The hotel has wifi. And now I’d like to write some words about the most important advantage of this hotel – it is the staff !!! Everybody, from the manager to the cleaner, is more than polite and attentive and very careful people! Especially considering our crazy time table (I'm with two children 7 and 1 year old, my mother and we always took excursions, traveled a lot. The eldest daughter in the morning and in the afternoon could do lessons in the lobby of the hotel. We were extremely pleased with our trip and stay in the hotel, although I had been worried about the accommodation before, but it turned out to be perfect.

We stayed in National Artsakh hotel for 5 nights. I was totally satisfied with the service and the room. The breakfast is delicious and the buffet includes everything you might want to have for breakfast. The rooms were very clean, warm comfortable. They have very nice stuff. I just wish to be there, some more time

The hotel was good. Staff was friendly, linen was clean. Breakfast was poor, options were not too many. Restaurant functions only for breakfast, in case you get hungry, you'll have to order food from another place. As to me it is not 4 star, compared to other 4-star-hotels, Europe is still lacking.
