Possibly the most memorable place I've stayed. Magnificent view of Titicaca and the most lively, creative decor I've encountered. Owner Rene goes out of his way top help and communicate (at check-in, he gives you a five to twenty minute--depending upon your preference --to options in and around the area. He and his mother, Sra. Yola, are very welcoming. Breakfast is terrific. Hot water works. Can be a little cold, but it's at 13,000+ feet and the blankets are more than sufficient. Walk to restaurant row is about ten minutes and not at all inconvenient. Arguably the best lodgings decision I've ever made in forty years of travel.

We stayed here as we were having a trip to Isla del Sol. The lady owner is welcoming and helpful. The rooms were a little basic, clean and more than suitable. The showers were hot and the wifi worked quite well when downstairs. The breakfast is also quite good. Great location and everything is a 5-10 minute walk away. Try the lemon ceviche whilst in this area! Great little hostel with some nice views higher up the building.

It‘s one of the hostals all up the hill, allow yourself a 45 min climb with all your luggage, breathtaking. The climb to the Imperio is worthwhile because it has one of the greatest views, imperio has a 1 top view 2 window room on the first floor, You will wake up with first beams of sunrise on your eyes. The owner is friendly and helpful in spanish. Common shower, warm only at certain evening hours. The WiFi was not reliable, turned off after 9 pm in the evening. Good breakfast at the neighbour‘s garden.

The hotel has an amazing view from all of the rooms, but sadly it is a long walk to the city. The rooms are quite small, but to spend a few days here is fine. The hotel looks really new in the photos, but we found it in need of a renovation. The paint was falling of and it feels older than it is. The breakfast was fine and the staff was really friendly and the lobby was open all day. The laundry service was good and fast.

Tip 1 - don't bother going to Copacabana especially if you've already visited Puno in Peru. Tip 2 - if you've ignored tip 1 then don't stay in this hostel. It is centrally located in Copacabana and the owners seemed nice but there are just way too many rules. Examples - no plugging in of electrical appliances, main door locks at 10.30pm so you're sleeping on the street after that. One of the worst breakfasts we have ever had. Showers needed to be cleaned. There are not many choices in this town but I don't think it's fair to charge the prices that this hostel charge and give such a poor service.
