This riverside hotel has friendly staff and a range of rooms - mine even had a red carpet! The manager speaks good English and he also manages a nearby massage spa (no happy endings - proper massage!). You can get basic meals in the evening and breakfast. Nice views over the river - recommended!

We walked in and paid 100,000 LAK a night. Didn't have to show our pasports. We chose a room on 2nd floor facing the street. It is small and has ants on the bed. Hot water is ok to shower. Has 2 free bottles of water in room but no boiler to make tea. Can take boiled water downstairs. Bathroom floor has new tiles and is clean. We ate in local restaurants nearby. Took 20 minutes to walk to Sunday night market but had mainly cheap products and very limited food and drink options. No tuk tuk around the hotel to rent. Thank you to a local man who brought us for free by his pick-up car to bus station which is 3km away so we could take the 8am bus to Paksong.

Deluxe and standard rooms are roughly the same size throughout the hotel between 30-20m2 in size. Deluxe room LAK150,000 per night. The rooms come with nicer bed, nicer furnishings like curtains and ceiling. Standard Room LAK110,000 per night. Both Deluxe and Standard rooms both come with queen sized bed, mini fridge, desk, 2 chairs, air conditioner, mirror and desk lamp. Television is supplied through a 32” and is via satellite so reception is not always available. Bathroom has a basin, western height toilet (Asian style flush), mirror and electric shower.

This is a simple, cheap and clean hotel situated about ten minutes from the center of town and fifteen minutes from the river. There is a small market nearby and a number of cafes and drinking places on the river. There are now cold beers available on site - see the previous review. Fine if just passing through and as good as they get at this price.

We needed to spend the night in Attapeu and there are not many choices for accommodation. Our room was clean and the bed was somewhat uncomfortable. The ac worked and the staff were pleasant. We had a nice local hotpot dinner and breakfast was simple, but good. If you find yourself in this town, it’s not a bad place to stay.

We actually stayed there during our Laos trip, the owner has stolen money from our locked bedroom (he has the key to enter ) and locked bag!!!We were lucky to realise it the same evening(he enters our bedroom when we were eating outside) , we confronted him telling him we won't let a bad review if he stopped stealing from people. We were lucky he gave back our stolen money saying it was his maid ( there is no maid...) We stayed 3 hours in the evening explaining to him how bad it was for his guesthouse reputation, he cried so we were thinking poor guy he won't steal anymore....what a joke when I read all these post afterwards saying he continue to steal EVERY TOURIST who stay there.Really not nice I thought people could change :( ....
