We are a warm and cosy micropub, true to the values of the micropub ethos. We offer a warm welcome (as our many reviews testify) and up to 5 ever-changing real ales from around the country, hand-pulled to perfection. We are in the Camra Good Beer Guide for the Sixth year running. In addition to real ale we also dispense still cider, a range of wines (3 red, 3 white, 1 rose and 1 prosecco) together with a range of continental bottled beers.
Adam and Steve run a fabulous little micro pub with a wonderful atmosphere. There are usually 5 hand pulled ales available, all well kept reasonably priced. A selection of wines and ciders complement the line up. Regulars and casual visitors chat together in the small and intimate surroundings. If you want to have a bit of fun, tell Adam the washroom mirror is ok, but the tiles are sloping. We found the place by chance on our first afternoon in town and managed to pop in for a “quick one” each day of our long weekend. Looking forward to returning next time we stay.

Beer Monkey Brew Co. was founded in June 2017, with the brewery consisting of a Bavarian steam powered stainless steel 30-barrel brew plant with 8 conical fermenters & conditioning tanks. The brewery was created to satisfy the increasing demand for specialist nice cask, keg, can & bottle ales, packed with character, flavour. All our Ales are brewed on an artisan plant utilising the high-quality Yorkshire water sourced from our very own borehole sully. This gives us the flexibility to create new and exciting beers on a regular basis to a consistently high standard. With a wealth of knowledge, our passionate brewing team ensure that all our beers are brewed with the upmost skill & attention to detail. The tap room was launched in August 2018 to showcase our beer and run brewery tours to the public about us and the brewing process.

Always have a fabulous time at the Mess Room. Very friendly staff and a good range of drinks - highly recommend the rhubarb cider. The inside is very cosy but, if the weather is nice, there is no nicer place to sit than in the beer garden. Can't wait until it opens again so we can visit - hopefully with friends.

Superb as always. We only get chance to come here once a year but when we come to Skipton this is an absolute must. Amazing staff and a great selection of drinks in a modern but cosy environment. Cannot praise the staff enough!

A micro pub with a big welcome. Offering the finest selection of real ales (1 permanent and 5 guest) bottled continental lagers and wine for all palettes. A warm welcome awaits you in this small corner of Skipton, we're open 7 days a week. You will not find a better pint of real ale in Skipton. We offer complimentary locally made pork pies on a Friday tea time.
Every time I visit Skipton Early Doors is the first choice for a drink where you can be assured of a genuine, warm welcome from both Paul the landlord and regular customers. This venue is classed as a "micro pub" not only because it serves a good selection of real ales (and a lager) from independent local brewers but also because the pub is tiny inside comprising of just one room (just about big enough for a liberal party conference). And the offerings are all very good indeed, my favourire being the Moorhouses Blonde Whitch which is exceptionall well kept and served - and at only £3.10 per pint. Of all the "micro pubs" in skipton I would rate Early Doors as the best for friendliness, well kept products and value. Keep up the good work Paul.

Caroline and Andy, assisted by Charlie and Simon are doing a great and thorough job under these difficult and changing Covid conditions. We all felt comfortable with the precautions they are taking. The bar meals were very good. The Falcon is a renown institution that needs your support in these difficult times.
