Only 35 minutes from the SLC Airport, Park City's rugged beauty is complemented by over 100 restaurants and bars, open air concerts, numerous spas and health clubs, plays, independent film screenings, a series of world-class events and festivals, and as many kinds of lodging as there are people. If you're into thrills, try out the summertime version of the bobsled at the Utah Olympic Park or challenge yourself at one of several area golf courses.

Three friends and I needed a break from shopping, so we stopped at The Cabin for a cocktail and some people-watching on Main St. Thanks to Yeti, our bartender/waiter extraordinaire, who took great care of us and made a specialty drink that was out of this world. We felt so at home, that we shopped some more and then came back for dinner! Thanks to “New Jersey” who let us back in without a cover charge. Wish we had been able to stay for the music, but we had an early flight out the next morning.

A cocktail lounge and live music hall set at the top of historic Main Street. Within a swanky, speakeasy setting craft cocktails are served and national touring musicians perform on weekends. Check the website for upcoming music schedules.

After a full day of skiing at Park City, Pig Pen Saloon was the perfect place to unwind. Despite being very busy, we were able to secure a table for 4 and we were served very quickly. Our server (Heather) was cheerful and attentive. And the $10 shot + T-shirt offer was too good to pass up! I would definitely recommend Pig Pen Saloon to anyone for the best apres-ski bar.
