The most delicious, flavoursome, juicy fillet steak I had during my whole time in Argentina accompanied by fresh salad. Perfect dining experience with attentive service and good value as happened to be their promotional dish for the night.

La Caballeriza is a restaurant chain with branches in Buenos Aires (and São Paulo). But this one is small and simple/rustic.The principle is the same...traditional argentinean menu with focus on parrilla. The plates are well served.Other options for those who do not want meat. There is no chance for mistake.

Had a buffalo burger which was good except the bread/bun which was oddly crumbly. Green salad was very fresh. Pasta was freshly made. Prices more than reasonable. Slightly let down by poor quality waiting staff who were really stressed out in particular the manager who looked like she was having a really bad day. Id still go though.

Bamboo Brasas offers both tourists and locals the best grilled meats, meals at wood oven, Patagonian lamb, delicious regional dishes, pasta and homemade desserts.
I know I'm an American but I speak Spanish and lived in South America. I found the staff here to be rude at best. Perhaps the stereotype is true about Argentinians being snotty. However the food here was incredible.Hi Rob, I´m sorry for your inconvenient. I don't know what happen, All the previous comments speak very well of our staff.I let you my email [email protected] so you can explain me in more detail what was the problem, to work it out. Thanks youRegards

Super friendly staff and a great Patagonian menu. If you like lamb, just let them know ahead of your visit and they will prepare for you the best patagonian lamb you have ever had. Pair that with a good local beer and you are done for a SIESTA!!! Good variety of foods, mainly all of the dishes are prepared in house. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed

Cozy authentic atmosphere in a cool Chalet-style house a couple blocks off the main street. Menu offers everything you'd want from the parrilla, but we love the lamb (cordero), it's just perfect, delicious, crunchy skin, tender meat. And the lomo (filet) in Malbec sauce is spectacular. Salads, pan casero, chorizo, empandas, pure de papas, all delicious. And a very good seasonal wine list, so sometimes they might be out of what you want, but there are plenty of options. If they have it, try the San Pedro de Yacochua.

Pioneros te sorprende con los mejores corderos Patagonicos en su asador ! Parrilla de excelencia en Villa La Angostura
We settled in on a rainy day for a nice meal. After waiting ten minutes to talk with the waiter, we ordered wine and a medium-rare Lomo. They came back to say ""no limo." Seriously, in a Parrilla? Forty minutes went by, and our substitute steak came back Cold and well-done. We sent it back, and they put us at the end of the line in the kitchen as a new order, meaning another long wait. The meat was terrible, chewy and only half of it was edible, the other half was all fat and gristle and served on cold plates. The chef obviously give us a bad piece of meat for sending it back. With our pricy bottle of wine we were given two little glasses you find in pizzerias. We had to ask for the large red wine glasses everyone else was given. Staff were polite, but the attitude was they didn't give a crap. Two other tables sent back their meat while we were there. The Villa has many other options, so I advise skipping this disaster.

This prominent and popular restaurant by the main square serves a good choice of regional dishes, such as trout with lemon. On a second visit I had bife de chorizo and the portion was so big I couldn't finish it. Service was a bit hit and miss - either overly attentive or ignored when the restaurant was filling up.

We had an excellent meal here. The service was very attentive and the waitress had good English which helped as our Spanish is limited. The food was tasty, the bread basket was a small fresh warm loaf, our entrees was tasty empanadas and the steaks we had for our mains were perfectly cooked. An excellent meal.
