I came in with a coupon and got a free gallon of tea after purchasing a Family XL Pack. You do not have to get the XL, but it is worth it for a group of people to feed. The regular is awesome too. Yet, for my individual order I purchased a beef strip sandwich with onions and a side of mash potatoes. The place is friendly, and you can see what you are getting before you actually get it. I am not talking about looking a some video screen I am talking about actually viewing the food. They use to give out samples, but I am not sure if they do that anymore. The tea is a little too sweet for me, but you can adjust how you want your tea.

Had a big family thing, decided to give this place a try since I drive by it a lot. My chicken was raw in the middle, hubby said his brisket was like chewing leather, another family member said the sausage was only so-so , the giant baked potato was a flavorless mess and the sides were all vaguely unappealing (especially the mac and cheese which was oily and separated).Not going back. I love some good barbecue, and this isn't it.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at this Texas Monthly Top 50 barbecue restaurant. The ribs were really good and needed no sauce at all. The brisket had a great taste. I ordered the juicy portion, but wish I had ordered the lean portion. The sausage was good too. I think the item that our group of seven enjoyed the most was the barbecue nachos with brisket. This item was really great. One of our grandkids said, "This is the best barbecue I've ever had!" 'Nough' said!! Not sure where the negativity of one reviewer comes from. Everyone that entered the restaurant was greeted by all the employees. Very friendly people. I would highly recommend this for barbecue lovers and those that need to be converted!!

If you ever want to go somewhere where staff could care less, the food tastes like week old left overs, and you overpay for it--this is your place!The staff mixed up everyone's orders in my party and those customers after us. Then, a staff member got irritated by his own mistakes and walked off the line.The sides were overly salted and reheated way too many times. Just a bad experience from beginning to end.
