Great choice for drinks on the patio but food could use some help. It's very bland and below average for Tex Mex.

Our hand-tossed pies are baked in a 900° wood oven. Our chefs then top them with organic ingredients, local produce and imported cheeses. Local favorites are the Truffle Pie with tartufo, potato, pancetta, rosemary and egg; the Standard with pomodoraccio
We love going here during our annual trip. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Long waits are typical. You wont be disappointed!
If you like a neighborhood dive, that smells like a old stale ashtray its okay. We were not there long and left wreeking of cigarette smell! The place is old and so are the inside contents.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
We were doing errands and stopped by for lunch. We have gone to Houlihans numerous times and can always know the food will be fresh, service good, they have a guarantee if your lunch doesn't come out in a timely manner there is a perk. We didn't accept the challenge, we were not on a schedule. Service is always friendly and takes care of your needs. I ordered soup and salad and hubby ordered a hamburger cooked to order.

So disappointed in a recent visit to this restaurant, which we had enjoyed some years back. We were present with our two preschool-aged grandchildren. The host grabbed some crayons and a kids' menu and acted as though she was starting to smile at our youngest but then drew back and didn't seem to know how to be welcoming. The server spent too much time trying to upsell us on two burgers versus one on the kids' menu and failed to get our order correct. Brought out cheeseburger instead of hamburger; the grandchild that ordered it can't have dairy, so we needed to send it back. Couldn't get the server's attention to send it back; called over another server that appeared to be checking with the tables to see if things were OK with their meals. She sent it back, no apologies. But the re-order took a long time to appear. In the meantime the rest of us at our table finished our meals completely. No apparent recognition that you need to work quickly with kids--they get impatient. We then called over our original server to tell him that the children's chocolate milk that came with the kids meal had yet to be delivered. He said he would get it right out, but then he stopped by two other tables to take their orders before going back to the kitchen. We then called over the second server who was supposedly checking on our re-order of the hamburger. We explained our dissatisfaction; she said she was busy setting up tables for a large party. Again, no apologies and an attempt to argue. I had to ask that this portion of the meal be comped; she agreed to do that. There was no attitude of excellence present at all. We had ridden the DART train specifically to this restaurant so our kids could experience the fun of a train ride and then being able to walk to a restaurant. We will never return to this Applebee's.

Otherwise known as Saucer on the Lake or Flying Saucer Draft Emporium. Huge selection of beer on large patio by the lake. Typical pub fare (why don't you have pub as a cuisine?!)
We stopped in here for a late lunch on a weekend and grabbed a table out on the patio. The views were really nice!Service is just so-so here. We noticed lots of dirty tables all around us. It also took a while to get menus, silverware, and to place our order. With that being said - our waitress (Olivia) was very pleasant - service was just really slow and inconsistent. The beer flights were very nice. There were several to choose from and there seemed to be something for everyone. The chip basket with salsa & queso was very good as an appetizer. The Duke Burger (BBQ and jalapenos) and the Turkey Meltdown were both enjoyable sandwiches. The German potato salad was especially nice and a welcome exchange from the normal fries. Portions were quite large and all the food tasted fresh and really good.Overall, we had a very nice lunch - just don't expect much over a very casual, laid-back kind of atmosphere. Food gets an A-, service gets a C+, the view gets an A+.

I dined here with a friend on a weeknight and the service was extremely slow. Orders are placed at the counter and there was only one worker taking orders, getting drinks, etc. We waited in line ten minutes with maybe a dozen people ahead of us.There is a good choice of entrees that include fish, shrimp, crab legs, po boys, and gumbos. Prices are a little on the "high" side for the portions. I ordered the cold shrimp (shrimp cocktail) and hushpuppies and the cashier charged me and put the order in for the wrong amount of shrimp. I only noticed it on the ticket after sitting down at the table and just let it slide. I paid $15 for a meal and left hungry. The shrimp were very small and I had to ask two different people for lemon slices. The hushpuppies were good but nothing special. My friend ordered the crab leg/shrimp/sausage boil and it looked very good but was a costly $28 and even though it is advertised as feeding two, was perfect for one person.I had an "okay" meal here and just didn't feel that the portions and quality fit the cost. I have had much better other places. The staff seemed to be more interested in visiting with each other instead of taking orders, waiting on customers, or cleaning tables. In my opinion, this place needs a little attention before I would want to return.

Nice little diners with my daughter and it's was a good meal with great service. I had a steak and veggies, pleasantly surprised it was cooked right and broccoli and corn were good too. Daughter had mac/cheese, was a little runny, she ate it though. The service was really attentive and excellent. Really surprised that the service was that good, been ok in the past so pleased with that.

Bankhead Brewing Co. brews all their own beer onsite. Typically will have 8-10 taps rotating throughout the year. Chef Louis prepares and cooks out of two wood burning ovens.
Great brewery with very good food. The people here are super nice. Actually one if The nicest staffs of any brewery Iâve ever been too, and that number is close to 100. Definitely a must check out if your in the area. Even if you are not a beer fan I would still try to hit it up.
