Disappointed with this grill on the old Delawana property. Menu was limited, prices were inflated and food was lacking in flavour and presentation. Clue should have been the lack of customers but the view is enticing. Perhaps a drink on the patio would be sufficient to enjoy the scenery but food is poor.

This place is nicely accessible by boat on the Trent system . There is a newer, easy to access dock right beside the place. They have a nice deck and cozy, wood-walled bar room. We chose the deck and had a couple of reuben sandwiches and fried pickles. Decent prices too. This is family owned and they show pride in their work and food.

Traditional British Pub Full Service Restaurant 12 Draught on Tap
Definitely not a dive but rather a jewel. Cozy, kinda Irish atmosphere. Plenty on tap of the good beer/ale. No need for twenty types as there is definitely one for the beer drinker in you. Food OMG delicious and plenty. Try the poutine to begin. We did just the plain and when we were done sharing we were not sure why we ordered a main meal! Shepardâs pie with soup of the day, partner had beef and Brie on a roll sautéed onions and Greek salad. We are still here and perhaps foolishly have ordered dessert! We have a two hour drive to our destination but perhaps we need a motel as a second beer has our name on it. Bottom line, friendly, atmosphere, great food you need to pull your stool up and set a while. Dessert is about to be served!

Had a fun time listing to Kitty and the band on the deck, Music was excellent. Food was good, service was very good even with the place being very busy. Our server Tayler was able to keep up and did a very good job.

The Waubic is a family owned and operated business, our menu is homemade and freshly baked. We are dedicated to maintaining this quality, so longer waits are to be expected during busy times. We may not be the biggest, fastest or fanciest place on the riv
We had a great couple meals at the Waubic. A little slow to deliver from the kitchen so dont rush it,..it is worth the wait. Over a weekend's time, we had fish and chips, roast beef and yorkshires, appies, and salads,..as well as some cold beer. Flying monkeys 20 oz was very good. Pricing very decent for the area. Portions and sizes huge. The fish and chips blew us all away and the portions massive. The docking good too even though a few jerks made too much wake,..just put a lot of bumpers out. The owners and staff were happy and organized and a pleasure to deal with.

Small restaurant part of Big Chute Marina complex. Nothing fancy. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Stopped for lunch as it was convenient after seeing the "marine railroad" nearby. Four of us - 2 ordered burgers, two ordered hot dogs. Both were pretty good. Servings are ample.

Lunch visit with grandpa, grandma & the two grandkids. The kids ordered poutine & grandma & grandpa had the fish & chips. All the food was scrumptious with huge portions. In reality we could have split. Grandma had a caesar as a beverage (excellent). Our waiter Jeff was very good. No children's menu though.

Four of us had dinner..I ordered the pork schnitzel and received a huge portion. It was very, very dry and I told the waiter..she shrugged off my comments. I only ate a few bites.. When the waiter removed my plate she asked if I would like her to tell the chef how disappointed I was. Nothing transpired. Would not recommend this restaurant!Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your visit to Oak Bay. Without constructive feedback it is easy to believe we are meeting all of our guests expectations which remains our goal. The overwhelming majority of our customers comments are so very positive so it really hits hard when we failed to meet and exceed your wishes for a pleasant dinner complimented by attentive service. I will be speaking to our floor staff today to remind the team of the importance of bringing clients comments to our attention right away. Please accept our sincere apologies and perhaps we can invite you back during your next visit to our area? Excellent freshly prepared meals served in a warm, friendly setting with waterfront views. Also enjoy a large over-water and boat-up patio open May-Oct with tropical drinks, great service and a Caribbean vibe. The Grill is open year-round and is also a te
The Grill in Port Seven is a regular stop for us on the way to the cottage. It has always been a very good experience however, the last two times have been disappointing. Both the service and food, usually a strong suit, has not been acceptable. Today, for lunch, I had wings and a side Caesar salad. The salad was virtually uneatable, it was swimming in salad dressing and the wings very average. The server asked if I was going to finish the salad I pointed out the issue with the dressing. She said sheâs never seen it like that and took it away. There was no offer to adjust my bill.Hoping that The Grill can return to its former level of service and quality.
