Nice restaurant, located in-house at the Inn at Morro Bay. Sundays they have a Prime Rib dinner special; and the chef does know how to cook a good prime. Salad, Prime Rib, starch and veggies, even a cobbler for dessert for $34. I enjoyed it. They also have a butternut squash soup this time of year that's really, really good.

We wanted to avoid the tourists, so stopped in for a couple of adult beverages in the evening and were not disappointed. Vintage bar decor, broad selection and an amazing deal on High Life, as I learned from a local fisherman. We had a fine time, met some interesting residents and wandered away fulfilled.Weâll go back.

Located right on the water in Morro Bay, Rose's Bar and Grill is a family friendly sports bar offering classic American and seafood dishes. Join us today!
All staff were welcoming and friendly. Burgers were huge and tasty, especially the accompanying garlic fries. We had asked for medium-rare and they were well done. That was the only complaint. Draft beers were excellent, especially the Alaskan Amber. The place is showing some wear and tear and I hope you like football if you go on weekend afternoons. I counted at least 8 or 9 television screens in the bar area, all showing the same game. Patrons and staff appeared to be died-in-the-wool football fans (=noisey). Itâs more of a sports bar than a Mexican joint. The ambiance was too sports-oriented for my taste, but give it a try.

Other restaurants in the area turned us away because they didn't have enough staff on a week night for our group of four (4). Otter Rock seated us immediately. Service was very good. The food was also very good. I always enjoy seafood while sitting on the bay with a great view.

Popped in for what a quick drink in what looked like a cool âlocalâ pub. Service was diabolical, 300lb 6â guy sitting at bar with wife (me!), donât get a second look, then in walks Mike and the barman says, âwhat you having Mike?â Seems like a go to place for locals, thatâs fine but have the courtesy to put up a sign saying âno tourists welcomeâ.

This is an upscale place on the water with a very pleasant atmosphere. Prices are on the lower end of fine dining. Service is quick and personal. Our group had about 5 different seafood dishes and all were excellent. The clam chowder was actually a little too thick for what I prefer. The oysters were worth ordering. Overall a very nice evening. Drinks were reasonably priced.

Spectacular views and outdoor tables make this "Bistro on the Bay" a perfect spot to relax, enjoy a latte or organic coffee or morning Mimosa. Breakfast is served until 3pm daily including omelets, benedicts, fresh made biscuits and gravy and much more. I
Stopped in for dinner and were rewarded with nice harbor views, friendly service and a respite from the more touristy places facing the street. My wife had the lobster bisque and a seafood salad and enjoyed both. I ordered the linguini with a pound of clams and was in heaven. Clams and pasta were perfect and the broth was the best Iâve enjoyed in a long time. We liked it so well we returned for breakfast and had another outstanding meal. The Country Benedict was inspired - biscuits and gravy with a large sausage patty and poached egg inserted. I may stop making hollandaise and shift to this.We had a great time and will return.Thank you for sharing your glowing review. It is great to hear that you enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. It is helpful to know what our guests enjoy and to know you found a little bit of heaven! Say hello the next time you come in.Denise

So, this is a clean well run restaurant with a nice menu, and excellent service.... came here a long time ago, and though we would try it again... we were not disappointed. Fish Taco's were outstanding, and the Leticia Salad with Steak was delicious... server was very busy, but keep up with the tables and drinks well......
