A little pub history - The land on which the inn stands was originally purchased by the owner of Boclair Farm in Milngavie and began life as a shop selling vegetables grown on the farm. The Antonine Wall, built after Hadrian's Wall, runs nearby and a Roma

This Brewdog is in a great location, just opposite the Kelvingrove Art gallery. Had two really nice beers whilst I was there. Buzzing atmosphere and friendly staff. Punters seemed very happy too.

Chic city centre bar and kitchen A much loved veteran of the Bath Street party circuit, Saint Judes had a major refurbishment in the summer of 2015. Now featuring a bright, colourful bar and dining room, it is a lively spot for lunch or afternoon grazing

Advised to visit by friends and were not disappointed. Lovely decor walking in with open feel. Attentive and friendly service from several servers. Nice range of cocktails and drinks. Menu was great and all our courses were delicious with nice twists on classics, from the Mac'n'cheese bites to the deep-fried-ice-cream. Particular mention to the Duck Fries with hollandaise and black bomber cheese. Nice night out.

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b
We had both breakfast and supper here. The breakfast was fantastic! A wide variety of both hot and cold selections. We were starting our hike of the West Highland way and needed a hearty breakfast and we certainly got that. Supper was good as well. We ate off the value menu and enjoyed the food. Our servers particularly at breakfast were great.

Hi,Got a birthday voucher and decided to use tonight, My wife and l both decided to have the Sunday roast lamb and some cocktails. The cocktails were great. The meal looked well presented and the roast potatoes and vegetables had a lovely gravy, however the lamb was about 90% fat. It was awful,l do not get why someone would serve it on a plate. It really was that bad that there was virtually no meat so the meal was just potatoes and vegetables. I never mentioned at the time and probably should have but l am not the type however l called 20 minutes after l left and asked for the manager to discuss but just got to speak to the person that cleared my table and although she did apologies l got the impression she did not care that much.l wont be back for food here again.I wish l had taken a picture and assumed the person clearing the tables would have noticed along with the chef! and the server

The Burnbrae Bearsden is traditional yet delivers modern standards with the highest level of quality food allied with subtle yet attentive table service. Being very popular with locals, The Burnbrae serves a vast range of Cask Ales, Premium imported Lager
After getting the news that I'd been offered a new job, myself and my husband were looking for somewhere local for an impromptu celebration meal. Being in the area and remembering a recommendation by a member of staff in Waitrose, we decided to try out the Burnbrae. Walked in to find a roaring log fire and a really cosy pub atmosphere, not too busy as it was just before dinner time, but lots of attentive staff. I went for the rump steak and hubby went for steak sandwich, didn't realise that on Thursday if you order two meals from the grill menu, you get a bottle of wine free (we had already ordered beers and were driving so asked if we can take the bottle home, which we were told was absolutely fine!) Drinks came quickly, wheat beer on tap and the food shortly after, weren't disappointed, steak was well seasoned and done to our requests! Despite it getting busier the staff weren't pushed to get us out of our seats and we had a nice, relaxed evening. Now that we've been once, we'll definitely go back! We're happy to hear you had such a positive experience with us! We hope to see you soon!
