We have been passing the restaurant everyday and finally decided to eat here last night, I really regret not coming sooner. The Staff were very attentive and friendly throughout our whole visit and the service fast, which we have not found anywhere in Gouvia yet.The Head Waiter was brilliant! I made a mistake with my main meal and ordered the wrong dish as the Sword Fish which I had ordered came in a light Batter coating and I do not like it. Nothing was a problem as he quickly changed my order to Tuna and off he went to the Kitchen to sort.Five minutes later the best rare Tuna steak came with grilled vegetables and the meal was faultless.My wifes meal, a personalized topping Pizza was just as good.A free drink at the end of the meal was a welcome surprise.A brilliant night and will definitely be back.

good place to go quench your thirst for 2 euros a pint of beer. The lady who works there also handy for info and nice and pleasant. had a breakfast, plenty of food, good value. just not keen on the sausages but that's a taste thing.Thank you for your review. You will be glad to know I have changed our sausage supplier for next season. After reading your review I had a sausage sandwich and agreed with you. Thank you so much for bringing this issue to our attention.

Hired sun beds for the day from this bar during our stay which were expensive in themselves considering that they were dirty and cramped together. We then decided to visit for lunch as we were in front of it anyway... big mistake! Old salad that was near out of date, microwave frozen chicken and rude waiter! Only upside was that the owner took us seriously and refunded our untouched lunch.

Beautiful place to have a drink and something to eat. You sit under trees and in the evening there are candles on the tables making it a lovely place to be. You can eat or just have a drink. The prices are reasonable as well. They also have sport on the TV but it doesn't spoil the ambience. The staff are great! We love this place and visited several times on our holiday.

Visited here recently while on holiday, small family run restaurant, food is very nice but service is very slow and laid back, but has a lovely view of the bay.

Previous reviews do this beach-side Café justice.Excellent setting as you get onto Liapades Beach, the Café is a pleasant area to while away you sunbathing hours if that is your want and the waitresses are always on hand. The sun loungers are free as long as you buy drinks and/or food from the café.

Butterfly is trying to be "the place to be". Nice gardens & seating & what looks like a dance floor inside with loud music. Aghios Georgios does not really attract a young crowd, so maybe more chilled out music would be better.Drinks more expensive than other bars & restaurants .

Well, it will be the best view you will ever take in your life. It is a wonderful place to have a drink (especially at night).Warning: if you go to swim, the water is extremely cold! Probably, the coolest water you have ever been.

Been visiting the Akron for the past 6 years and it never fails to disappoint the service and facilities improve each year all the staff work to a excellent standard always very polite, first class and nothing is never too much trouble. The facilities are very modern and chic you will find very comfortable sunbeds with umbrellas that you can rent daily beach towels can also be provided at an additional cost. The latest cocktail menu and an excellent food menu offering food such as homemade burgers to sea food platters all cooked to perfection. There is also a medium size pool if you don't want to go in the sea and also a small play area for small children. Really does cater for all.
