Ketchikan, one of Alaska's most Southeastern cities, is the first stop for many cruises on their way to more Northern climes. A stay in Ketchikan itself can be rewarding, however, as the city is the gateway to Misty Fjords National Monument, an area so beautiful, it is known as "The Yosemite of the North." With steep valleys formed by glaciers and lava flows left by volcanic activity, Misty Fjords offers gorgeous views of natural formations, all reflected in the calm waters of Pacific inlets.

Ketchikan visitors (and locals alike) delight in slipping away from the city's bustling cruise pier to savor the solitude and scenery of our incomparably beautiful setting. Naturally, the menu highlights an array of Alaskan seafood specialties as well as
We really, really wanted to like this restaurant. We chose this restaurant hoping for a very nice family lunch. The location and view are stellar and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. We arrived for lunch and knew the menu was limited but didn't realize it was quite that limited. Only 4 items. We were okay with that since we all found something we liked. 2 of us got the halibut and chips which was very good. 2 of us got the French dip which was awful. Very fatty meat on a burned bun that was just hard to choke down. One person got the burger which was also terrible. How do you mess up a burger? It appeared to be one of those pressed patties that was broiled. Honestly, the little shack down the road at Knudson cover had a much better burger. Giving it 3 stars because the fish and chips were good but very disappointed in the rest. The price was high and the food was below standard. The service was okay but not outstanding. I would not recommend this place, at least not for lunch. It is possible that dinner is better but after our experience I wouldn't chance it.

The Edgewater has been hit-and-miss for a while now, but we went for their Sunday Chicken Dinner and they hit a home run. Perfectly fried chicken, bowls of mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh green beans with crumb topping, bowls of lightly marinated raw veggies, and corn muffins. They'll bring more if you're still hungry, but you can't take home a to-go box, for obvious reasons. People would over-order just to get a couple free meals. The new chef is from Phoenix, I think. The manager was helpful and personable without hovering. The server was pleasant. The food was really good. They serve the family-style chicken dinner from noon until six, but don't go at six, because that's the end of it. We would go back for this. We were impressed.

We went here a couple times during our stay in Ketchikan to escape the rain. Great dive bar that was visited by locals and tourists alike. We played some darts and visited with the great bartender. Had a very tasty Bloody Mary too that they had taken to the time to infuse themselves. I appreciated the attention to detail.

If youâre looking for legendary Alaska seafood, you could not have come to a better place. Ketchikan has been a fishing mecca since the Native Alaskans traveled from their remote villages to the banks of Ketchikan Creek to catch and process salmon. Alaska
While this place is right in the tourist area of Ketchikan as you get off the cruise ship, it delivered on our expectations. We wanted to order a half snow crab and crab dip so everyone could taste it and it was just the right size and delicious! We washed it down (the adults) with a crazy green glacier drink and had some laughs. After that, we could cross crab legs off the bucket list!LWSalinas,We are delighted that we helped you cross crab legs off of your bucket list! Thank you so much for coming into the Alaska King Crab Co. and for taking the time to write this 5 star review. Its very rewarding to know that you enjoyed your food and the crazy green glacier drink. We hope to see you again if you are ever return to Ketchikan.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and found most restaurants closed. We decided to eat at Jeremiah's Pub. I was expecting a pub menu and was pleasantly surprised to find a full dinner menu of selections. We highly recommend their sampler platter of appetizers for a selection of fresh seafood.Dear Harlow: Thank you for taking the time to review Jeremiah's Pub. We appreciate your recommendations and are very happy to see that you enjoyed your dining experience in Jeremiah's. We hope you will come back in the very near future and enjoy another evening with us. Linda Peters, G.M.

Friendly staff, great place to hang out in the off season to meet the locals. I was not there during the tourist season, but I am sure they are busy. The T-shirts are one of a kind. :)

Know for the best homemade clam chowder in town, specializing in crab - King, Snow and Dungeness- and other assorted seafood including wild-caught salmon and halibut. With a waterfront location, the restaurant is a 1-minute walk from cruise ship berths 1
Family of four on a Friday for an early dinner. The restaurant was busy but not full. The only part of the meal that went smoothly was getting seated. Our server was friendly and trying, but both the bar and kitchen seemed to be totally disorganized. Beers took 20 minutes, food took 30-45 minutes - 3 meals came out together, the fourth (crab legs, which should have been the easiest) canes out 15 minutes later. They were very good but pretty small for the price, the crab Mac n cheese, Caesar salad and salmon burger were all very good. Not sure we would go back. Hi! What a confusing review. Service was friendly, food was âvery goodâ but it took too long? Was it 30 or 45 minutes? Because 30 minutes for made to order food is what it would take to ummmm make the food. If it was 45, well, Iâm thinking thatâs still pretty reasonable. The disorganization you saw at the bar was that all 4 of our kegs blew 1 after the other and yes, it was a little chaotic replacing each and every keg hence, your 20 minute wait for beer. And if you ordered the IPA that darn keg just would not work. I am sorry about that and I can honestly say THAT has NEVER happened before. (whew) Iâm seeing that you give pretty consistent bad reviews and Iâm wondering if maybe you just like to criticize others. I will speak for all the managers of all the restaurants you have posted negative reviews to - please speak up at the time of your unhappiness so that we can explain things like kegs blowing and how long it takes to prepare your food.

This was our last port for our Alaskan cruise and I had not eaten crab yet. So, for lunch my husband and I scoured the area for a crab restaurant. We stumbled across Annabelle's and decided to stop in. I ordered the King Crab leg. It was huge. And I had the chowder, which was thick and delicious. So, I was satisfied that I had what I came to eat, though it was pricey. My order came with a bowl of white rice, which I didn't understand and didn't eat. My husband ordered the fish and chips.Funny though, that evening on the ship, crab legs were served. Not as big, but it's just funny that I had to stop to get it for lunch on the same day they served it for free. In any case, I would recommend Annabelle's to any visiting the area. I wish I could try more of the other foods on the menu.LocaLola24,Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a 4 star review and tell us about your experience. We are happy that you decided to stop on for lunch and that you enjoyed the King Crab, chowder and fish and chips. It is traditional, in Alaska, to serve King Crab with rice. Between the rice, butter and crab it makes for a good side dish. We hope you come back again!
