Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Ischia. Serving as the main port town for the island of the same name, the town of Ischia has been inhabited for centuries, famous for its beaches and the healing waters of its spas. The town is divided in two: Ischia Porto is the harbor district and commercial center of the island, filled with brightly lit taverns and bars, and Ischia Ponte, the historic quarter, with its ancient castle and its stone streets seemingly frozen in time.

This little deli cafe/bar has a wonderful selection of authentic Italian cooked foods for a few euros a portion offering fabulous value. They serve drinks, cocktails of all descriptions together with at least 4 different kinds of snacks. We were also given a small dish of one of the dishes they offer, a potato gateaux which was so delicious, we made it our to-go-to lunch spot when we were in Ponte town. The staff were amazingly friendly and generous. A great place to pick up food especially if self catering.

Our family of eleven stopped in here as we were walking around after the castle tour. They seated us upstairs - looked fancy with linen tablecloths, nice bar but had head banging, heavy metal music blasting. Didnât quite fit the atmosphere. We mostly enjoyed drinks but also ordered anniversary celebration desserts for two couples in our party. DELICIOUS!!! It was a good find - glad we stopped in.

We were staying at the Aragona Palace Hotel, which offered a discount at this restaurant, formerly Starlet, which another reviewer mentioned. I only know this as Starlet is still printed on their till receipt. We decided to have their a la carte menu and were offered their catch of the day choice, which varies each day. We chose Lobster linguine, with buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes to start. We decided to share both, which was a good idea, as the portions were a good size. The lobster was served separately to the linguine, which was a nice touch, as it not only looked good, but you knew you were getting the whole lobster. The food was good as was the service and the price was very acceptable, â¬75 including, a bottle of wine, water and one desert. Because we were staying in the hotel, you received a 10% discount. If we had chosen the 3 course set meal, we would have received a 25% discount, the overall price would have been about the same as we paid.A nice benefit from staying at the hotel.

We are so glad we didnât give up looking for this place as google maps sent us the wrong way.Fantastic fresh seafood in an unforgettable setting.Sat at a romantic table on the beach, we ate mussels that were cooked in garlic and they were sublime. Very reasonably priced and I would recommend.Off the beaten track and a lot of locals eating thereThanks for your visit and the wonderful review to the next owner and all the staff

Maybe we've been spoilt but this place isn't really top notch. It's not bad, just not that good. The coffee is nothing special, the biscotti we had were quite good and the service was slow and offish. It's handy as it's on a convenient location after you've got off the bus and heading towards the castle, but there are a lot better places in town...

I'm struggling to remember this place, but my wife said it was good and they had my favourite tipple of Southern Comfort(â¬4) this being the cheapest anywhere in the area, not sure if it was a official measure or not, any way my wife's zero coca was â¬3.50 so I think I got a good deal.Food looked very good apparently, just wished I could remember it ......

Chill vibe with fun music. We had the owner pick 4 dishes for us. It was perfect. He was playing American 70âs music and was very friendly and helpful. So glad we found this gem!

There is a difference between a regular bar and a cocktail bar. This place figured it out. As a New Yorker we have high expectations everywhere we go, and this place meets everything you could want when on vacation. The drinks are all made to perfection, simple fresh ingredients all from the island. They set themselves apart with the attention they give to their tables. The service, the snacks they put out on the table ( without asking) and my favorite of all after a few drinks of you do get hungry they make fantastic sandwiches. The atmosphere is chill, with great music in the background. The place is located on the water so you are staring at yachts and boats and some of the beautiful greenery of the island. The cherry on top is its a family owned business. The dad is the bartender master and the two brothers Gianni and Daniele manage and take care of the hospitality side. You can tell that these guys have traveled to many bars around the world to bring everything they felt necessary to their own cocktail bar. I highly recommend coming here for before dinner drinks or after dinner drinks or both. Itâs a must go to on the island.

Went there because of Tripadvisor and because I am picky, but it exceeded my expectations. Really great food, salad was so huge and delicious!! Owner was super nice and all the waitresses. Can highly recommend this place and a huge plus was that the chicken salad was only 10 euros.
