Meteoron café bar bistro is located in a truly vantage point,on the hillside at Chora-Pyrgos road, with a spectacular view of the landscape from above, beautiful villages, Samos airport and also the Aegean sea with turkish coastline in the background! Enj
On one of our investigative trips around Samos Island we came across the Meteoron Cafe Bar Bistro. It is situated high up on a mountainous road overlooking the Samos Airport , Pythagoria and the ocean. It has a fabulous view and is in a lovely stone building with lots of space for customers- inside and out the building but all with a great views It is clean( with very clean bathrooms ) and the gentleman ( the owner) who served us was very welcoming and helpful .We only stopped for a drink but saw some food delivered to the table next to us - the presentation was very good and it looked delicious. There seemed to be a good menu to choose from .The signs outside advertised that they also offered live music but not when this took place. It is a bit or a trek to get to this restaurant but I should imagine for a special occasion it would probably be worth the effort

What a great find! A treat to spend a couple hours here today lingering over breakfast and good filter coffee! Reasonable prices for a good selection of breakfast items and good quality coffee. The owners could not have been more welcoming. Another dose of Samos hospitality. Thank you!â¤ï¸

We say Kalimera from early in the morning till late at night...You can enjoy your breakfast, coffees ,snacks, sweets and cocktails on seaside. Its our pleasure to serve you
Kalimera fast became a firm favourite during our visit to Kokkari. From it's wonderful location, right at the water's edge, to the warm welcome from all the staff, we enjoyed many great cocktails here. We were always welcomed with a smile and they went out of their way to pay attention to our daughter, too. An extensive drinks menu means there is something for everyone. Personal favourites were the espresso martini and the Bloody Mary. Every drink was accompanied by a plate of nibbles, from fruit and nuts to cheese and fantastic pickled carrots. They play music but it's not intrusive and it's a lovely relaxing place to drink in the atmosphere (and the drinks!)

The positive of this restaurant is the view, but nothing else. Prices are not so good comparing the food. We asked from the waiter to suggest us about the menu.He recommended courgette filled with rice and mincemeat. We agreed and we ordered. After some time he came back and told us that the above has finished and he proposes pasta - called Lazania. Again we agreed and again after some time he informed us that also this food has finished. Finally we ordered spaghetti with tomato souse and mushrooms, but they are not tasty. This resaturant is the only choice for lunch if you are at Glicorisa beach.Thank you for your comments

We were spending the day at Tsamadou (see separate review) Beach near this beach bar and they did not charge us for the umbrellas and brought us drinks for purchase...very reasonable (2E for sparkling water and 3E for sodas). We ended up having are lunch here and went up to the beach bar. Nicely shaded with good views and clean washrooms. My Olive, Tomato, Feta and Oregano Sandwich (5.5â¬) was pretty good on a toasted sesame seed roll cut in 2. The others liked their Greek Salad (8â¬), Arabic Pie (basically a chicken wrap) and Club Sandwich (7â¬). This is well marked from the main road and basically across from where we were staying, the Semeli (see separate review). But there is a parking area to the west (best access with stairs) and lots of people park along the road.

Visited several times during our holiday, always met very warmly by the owner and his staff. Lovely place to sit with a drink and the fruit and nuts etc that they serve you and look over the harbour.

A drop of perfection in all our products, mainly homemade with love and passion.Very friendly staff, beautiful music and view looking at the beautiful harbour of pythagoreio. The touch of our theory will make your trip unforgettable....
Stopped here for drinks to enjoy the view of the harbour. Complimentary peanuts and crisps. After two drinks decided to stay for a light lunch (or so we thought)!Ordered 1 meat club sandwich and one vegetarian.Out came two HUGE baskets of club sandwiches covered in a mountain of chips and two dips each..Think they were 7 euros and 5 euros. Absolute value for money. Recommend highly.

Great cocktails and friendly service. Usually a cool breeze on this beach. Very popular during the day with its own sunbeds.
