Beyond the resort's signature grand staircase, a vibrant new bar anchors the space, offering breathtaking views of the San Diego skyline and Coronado Bay, along with signature cocktails developed by our talented team of bartenders and local craft beers br
My husband and I come at least 1x a month (we are locals)...if we could afford it..we would come more often...expensive menu, but it is worth it. Nice views..very relaxing..a good place to drink cocktails and eat appetizers. Hotel staff are normally very friendly. I highly recommend this lounge. If you are on a first date and want to impress..this is a good place to go to...my husband and I have been together for 24 years now...and I still find it a romantic place to have a conversation and chill.
I have never seen food in this bar, but they do serve good drinks, fair prices and sometimes a jazz band is playing.
Was in town again and stopped by the Scoreboard a couple of times. Baseball stuff going on, everyone having a great ol' time, and me with my nachos and oh! those homemade biscuits and gravy. People loving the karioke - it's like a big family.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what the recent terrible reviews are all about because this place was just wonderful! Our server, a young man with dark brown hair, was kind, attentive, and engaging! He helped us navigate the menu. Our food was fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully on the plates! Next time we are in town, we canât wait to return! The firecracker shrimp, fish tacos and chicken sandwich were all very good! Oh, and thereâs patio seating available as well.

First of all let's start off with opening extremely early and serving coffee for $0.25. Now let's just break that down... a Bar opens early and they serve coffee and they only charge a quarter. Okay let's go for the obvious in point number 2... History the walls of this establishment are covered with decades of some of the coolest momentos dedicated to Military fighting groups you will ever come across. If you know what a Navy SEAL is then you better thank an underwater demolition team member, If I could I would shake the hand of every single surviving member but I can't ...so it's kind of silly however, it's nice to be able to go to a place and see the way that these teams of men thanked Uncle Al and his place ...Ye Olde Plank Inn. And lastly your trip to Imperial Beach isn't complete without a trip to the ATM... one is here. A cash only establishment....no tabs....locals frequent and hold this place dear.

My husband and I had brunch yesterday. It was very busy as a result of the NFL playoff games. We were lucky to get a table quickly and the service was quite efficient. They offer an expansive menu with massive portions. Our waitress was Judy G. and she was most delightful and took great care of us. We will definitely return and highly recommend!

CBC Pier-Side --- A coastal migration has extended the Coronado Brewing Company empire to Imperial Beach, allowing visitors to the countryâs southernmost city and its namesake pier to enjoy a taste of our authentic, award-winning Southern California beers
Full disclosure: my exposure to Coronado Brewing before walking into their IB location was limited to the Orange Ave Wit. I knew they brewed much more than that, but the Wit was all I'd ever tried.I was missing out! I was too full to give their tap list a proper once-over but did help myself to a pint of the Salt Spray gose (it's a sour, so it was tart, but it was also quite juicy with a nice balance of citrus and a dry note that cut through the sour flavors).Their outdoor patio was full when we arrived, so we snagged a booth near the windows. It's comfortable inside, and they have quite a few friendly employees wandering around, swooping in to pick up empty plates and glasses as soon as your hand strays away.My friend did order the buffalo strips to gnaw on; I was too full for much more than a beer, but they smelled yummy. He did enjoy them, even though they made him sweat (I guess they were a bit spicier than he'd anticipated!)I'm sure we'll be back - maybe not this location specifically, but I'd bet money my husband will want to swing by another tasting room to sample the other brews.

Located in the Pier South Resort, SEA180° offers innovative cuisine and oceanfront dining in Imperial Beach.
A newish restaurant a bit off the beaten path. We thought it was great. Contemporary and thoughtful design elements and top notch service. Lovely big patio right on the sand. A little on the expensive side but it is a special kind of place. We enjoyed the grilled brussels spouts and cauliflower starter, the catch of the day entree and a pasta. All delicious. Lemon tart for dessert was particularly noteworthy. We are looking forward to a second trip.
