Things to do in Dingmans Ferry
Newly opened in the heart of the Victorian village of Milford, this excellent gastropub bar is upscale yet friendly, classy but lots of fun. Some places just have a good vibe, and Jive definitely is one of them. It can get extremely noisy in here from all the folks having a good time. Staff is outstanding, as is the food, which is inventive, almost more tapas-like, presented artistically, with obvious high-quality ingredients. Often live music at the back end of this long, high, skinny New-York-City-feel space, where the musicians have begun signing their names on the wall. There are not a lot of tables - try to get there early and grab the biggest one by the window, or just hang out at the bar. Glasses of wine are big and inexpensive compared to some other bars in town. If you're looking for a spot to have a quiet chat, Jive is not it. This is a party place.

My wife and I had ordered a pizza and a garden salad. Another interesting place in a small community. The place is pretty good size. They have seating outside as well.Service was good and I don't see a problem for handicap people. Yes, try this place.

Located on the ground level of the hotel, Bar Louis is an elegant, stylish and contemporary environment for casual dining, serving an eclectic menu of food and cocktails from lunch to dinner. Our innovative menu features signature dishes like Sushi Pizza
This place is over rated. We were a group of five and only one of us was satisfied with his meal. We ordered the mussels (okay) and the cheese plate for apps. I am used to the cheese being sliced or at least being provided a sharp knife to cut it. The burgers were greasy and the special that I got, a lamb chop, was way way way overcooked and so so tough to eat. I couldn't use a knife to slice it and finally gave it to my son-in-law who knawed on it. The two specialty drinks we got, one was vodka based and the other a marguerita, were boring, and I'm not even sure that the sauvignon blanc that we ordered was actually that! The only thing good that evening was the guest IPA beer from a brewery in Vermont! A couple of waiters were flitting around, everyone seemed to be busy to be delivering food, but no one seemed interested in asking us how everything was. It's never great to spend your time in a restaurant that doesn't meet your expectations and I'm sorry your experience was not what you'd hoped. We regularly change our menu based on the seasons and source most menu items locally. I hope you'll have a chance to come back and try us again sometime.

We had an excellent late lunch; better seafood quesadillas then I've had by the ocean. Terry, our waitress was very patient and thoroughly answered all the questions from our sensitive (food wise) daughter. We were well satisfied and particularly pleased with the way everyone went out of their way to assist us with a bit of a problem. Excellent food; outstanding staff; and, a menu with interesting selections. What more could one ask for. Well worth the short detour off I-84.

Beautiful Views, friendly staff, Bartender Danielle makes the Best Grilled Burgers and Dogs that I have had in this area and she'll keep the grill open late. Wish they served more types of food.

The wings are terrific, not fried, but roasted. We had the hot wings and loved them, but several versions are offered. We've enjoyed other dinners here as well, pleasant staff, rustic decor. The bar area is sociable, the dining room is extensive. A little on the noisy side.

Situated on the Sawkill Creek, in Milford, PA the Waterwheel Café, Bakery & Bar was started in April of 1989 in a restored 19th century water-powered mill, which is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally built in the early 1800
This place has everything - from the ambiance, great people, delicious food and drinks to wonderful service. You can't be in Milford without a visit. it's the first place we ate when we were looking to relocate. We loved it then, and have continued to love it ever since. Nanci and Darren are PROs and want nothing more than to provide a dining or entertainment experience that you'll remember! The menu has something for everyone, from vegetarian options, to fine Vietnamese items, to gorgeous, delectable entree's. Visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And, the bar provides amazing entertainment every weekend. The Waterwheel is a Milford MUST!

This was my first visit to Failte Irish Pub and Steakhouse. They had a menu for Sunday Brunch. When I asked our waitress if it was possible to get soup, she replied she would ask the cook as it wasn't being served at that hour. I also asked what kind that had. There was a taco soup, French onion and New England Clam Chowder. I chose the clam chowder, she check with the cook and I was in luck. I wasn't disappointed. I also ordered corned beef hash and I wasn't disappointed either! Most corned beef hash that I have had has been either ground corned beef or minced. This was slivers of corned beef, similar to pulled pork and seasoned perfectly. Everything is homemade and fresh. I look forward to a return visit as some point to sample there menu. The service was great. There are two entrances: the bar, the restaurant. We entered through the restaurant.

We were visiting Peter's Valley Craft School and didn't have high expectations about dining in this rural area. Our meal here was a pleasant surprise. Our special - stacked won tons with crab meat salad - was appealing visually and was delicious. Our companions who ordered the special burger and the white pizza were also pleased with their choices. We are used to outstanding restaurants in the Philadelphia area, so I gave only 4 stars. However, the food and service are quite good. I would make a detour to eat there the next time I am in the area.
