Weâve Been here several times this summer and enjoyed our meals. And itâs tragic that one poor incident can ruin all that good will. And thatâs what we are talking about here...good will. Our food tasted fine, service was fine but my penne came with a sliced, toasted piece of bread. One half of that piece was so small that it had crumbled into cracker size pieces. How they could even plate it that way is beyond me. Our nervous waitress went back to the kitchen with my request for a new piece. The head waitress arrived and told me there would be a 2dollar charge. I looked at her, pointed to my plate and asked her if she thought I received a full piece in the first place. She returned with a slice of toasted bread. When the bill came I noticed my meal did not have the name of my meal but rather âchef specialâ and when I checked, it was $1 more than the listed price. Well, I told the poor waitress to take it back to her manager and it better get fixed. The head waitress came back with a revised bill and suggested that the price of my meal had been changed because a member of our party asked for a few jalapeño for her sandwich. Sure Mac sure. I tipped the waitress because she did a great job. But what does a piece of bread cost? 10 cents? Was it worth trying to sneak a charge onto my bill?! Donât think so. We wonât be stopping again.

Love Kelly's! Great lunch. As a second generation establishment, Kelly's is a fixture in Cobourg. If you're looking for down home cooking, with homemade soups, and sandwiches, this is the place. Food is great, and prices most reasonable.

We were looking for a quick bite for lunch & saw this place & thought we would give it a try. First & last visit. We ordered garlic parmesan wings & caesar salad & both were incredibly bad. The wings were over cooked & possible dusted with garlic salt?! Our server seemed uninterested. Bored even. A nice young lady with glasses was very pleasant & seemed very hard working. Bonus: lots of tvs.

My wife, daughter and I went here tonight. We have been in the past and enjoy the restaurant.Today was a different experience. We arrived knowing what we wanted ahead of time.Upon ordering drinks, we also ordered our mains and an appetizer. The side salad arrived, however no drinks. After finishing the salad and still no drinks we decided to leave.Went to front desk, spoke with the manager and offered to pay for the salad so we could get out.Manager said not to worry about it and we could leave. As we were walking to the parking lot, our server came through the emergency exit stating that our food was ready. As we had waited close to 40 minutes for water, iced tea and a lemonade, we had no faith in the actual order! Now sitting with drinks at Castle Johns!!Hi, Andrew. Sorry to hear about your experience and that the service was slow. We take this feedback very seriously and would like to follow up with the team involved. Please share the details at https://bostonpizza.com/contact-us.html so that we can make it better! Thanks.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch recently at this restaurant. I have a disability and use a scooter for mobility. We researched ahead of time to determine if it would be a good option for us and the restaurant stated on their website that it was wheelchair accessible. Although this is correct as far as getting into the restaurant and for using the washroom, I was very disappointed to discover that we would be forced to sit inside because there were stairs down to the outdoor patio areas. Overall it was a very good lunch at a very reasonable price. I just wanted others who have a disability to be made aware that the patio area is not accessible.

The dining room was quiet during our visit, so we had a quiet, pleasant meal. Service was attentive. The meal was nicely done. There was nothing earth-shattering, but we would certainly return.Thank you very much for your friendly words and we are looking forward to seeing you the next time you are in.

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers one afternoon and ended up heading out somewhere else afterwards. The service was fairly poor and we were the only ones in the restaurant other than the regulars at the bar top. The food was okay but fairly underwhelming and the drinks werenât cold. Maybe it was an off day or something but I wouldnât race back to this place. The location itself was pretty cool and the atmosphere was okay but thatâs about it.

We were greeting by warm, friendly, help staff. Very nice pub decor. Great beer selection and well rounded menu. Had a salad, shepherd's pie poutine and wings. Really good, fresh, homemade food. Can't wait to go back next time we visit the area.

Found out and read about this restaurant on TripAdvisor. Believed the rave reviews and was not disappointed. I had the Montreal Smoked Meat with a chicken noodle soup (instead of fries). Sammy was awesome. And the soup was a total pleasant surprise. Soup was homemade for sure with lots of chicken vegetables and noodles. My wife wanted to have the sandwich too but I convinced her to try something different so she went for the Chicken parm. Was totally awesome too. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
