Large café on the corner of St. Martin on its way into Barranco. Light and airy with informal seating. Moderate-sized menu of some Peruvian staples. Good value soups and some special offers. Servers spoke a variety of proficiencies of English. We had a sustaining lunch with a drink for £13/head. Take credit cards.

Good menu and lovely food burgers, nibbles. Service however was ordinary. Firstly no white wine despite being on menu. A dozen staff standing around and no one can arrange to grab a couple of bottles? Meals served and some comment about chips with the burgers. NextYou know a huge bowl comes out and try to charge for it. Then some issue with their system so we stand in entrance for 15Mins waiting for a manually constructed bill that ended up being wrong an additional beer and the chips so back to be recalculated. So a three rating for the service issues Handy location, nice decor, good food. Service okay but many staff about not doing a lot.

Great little pub with a quality selection of beers. Walked over here after some bad service across the street, and we were so happy we did. They have beers from all over Peru, including one my girlfriend loved from Sacred Valley. She was excited to have it again before our trip back home.I tried a few of their beers and was happy with the outcome. Overall, definitely go here and skip those wild men across the street!

Bistro 400 has a trendy modern look, both in terms of its decor and food. The Amazonian paella was tasty, especially the accompanying hot sauce. Desserts include traditional Peruvian ingredients and are beautifully presented. Service is very efficient and the majority of staff speak excellent English.Dear Steve,Thank you for take a time to write about your experience in our Bistro 400. Delicious beers with a low carbon footprint, as you can see the mash tubs in the background! Shecwho must be obeyed had the Barista copa 340mls for £4 which had a subtle coffee nose, and taste which just rounded out the flavour. The Jefe Weiss 660mls for £5 was a classic weissbeer but without quite as much acidity as itâs German cousin. We were guided through the offerings by Ayram who was also flitting around with beer friendly food. Good looking burgers, pizzas and other goodies were flying across the pass even on a slowish Monday night The Beer Co, is a large space, and is probably hopping at the weekend.

This restaurant/bar in Barranco has a unique entrance, decor and ambiance. We experienced some authentic Peruvian food as well, which was delicious. We had an assortment of items in one large platter, and everything was cooked well and had great flavors. Their pisco sour was excellent as well. We had a really great time that evening and I highly recommend trying it. The staff was great too.

We drank our way around Barranco and stumbled across this traditional bar by chance. The only thing we tasted were the Pisco Sours and we weren't disappointed! It was not too busy as it is away from the main bar strip.
