Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Ayutthaya. Built just to the east of the spectacular ruins of the capital of the Ayutthaya kingdom, a Siamese power destroyed by Burmese invasion in the 18th century, Ayutthaya is a modern Thai city studded with archeological wonders. Headless Buddhas and crumbling but still-beautiful reliquary towers and wats give evidence of the majesty of the civilization that was once centered here.
Things to do in Ayutthaya
Decorated in a modern thai hipster style, it's a major local hotspot which is a shame because it was my favourite place in Ayutthaya. The music was fantastic, the seating was comfortable inside and out and it's in a convenient location right next door to two hostels. There are two amazing bands plying each night, changing by the day. The value is unbeatable, the food is fantastic and everyone is super friendly. Great for breakfast as well as late night eats and everything in between. You get a nice discount if you stay at the hostel next door (which is decent). Classic Thai service, not over the top but there if you ask for it. The abundance of locals mark it as a great place off of the main backpacker street which I found quite lacking.
we proudly present our customers with the best simply Italian , Thai & Mediterranean modern cuisine freshly made from fineness ingredients available in the local price, experience dining together with our selection of best local & import wines, beer & int
The time there was great, food was good, good prices and the service is so kind and polite. Would totally recommend. They also rent bikes and bicycles, today they didn't have big bikes due to us asking for it so late but he gave us one small one for free all day. Thanks, Kaffa café.PS: Order the Pad Thai, best one so far!

I would like to review this bar and restaurant as I have really good time here. People were very friendly
Visited here for dinner, original plan was to go next door but it was shut. Friendly enough staff when seating us and bringing menus over, but terribly slow service after that. We ordered Chang Burgers ( i know, but we'd had Thai for lunch) it took at least 40mins to arrive. We sat and waited with two empty glasses for over half an hour, even with the staff serving the next table they never noticed, even after i asked for another drink they forgot! The burgers were bad though, real cheap patties, extra strong onion, plastic cheese and some mushroom that tasted like it had been cooked in shoe polish. Just not great, paid up and left.
I ate here twice during my stay in Ayutthaya, there was no English menu which made it very fun and exciting for me, I got the wrong dish a couple of times. But the staff looked after me really well. The food was really tasty I enjoyed food and the experience. I would recommend Amuse bar after a hard day of sightseeing.

I had been here a few nights before we visited with friends and our service was OK but we did not have any food.On the second visit my friends ordered a burger each and it took well over an hour to be served and this was after three reminders to see where the food was!I would say that they had forgotten the order and then it got lost in the queue but we kept asking when would the food be coming and it got to the point where one of my friends got up and left.

We went to this lovely restaurant several times as it was so close to where we were staying. Good choice of food, tasty and reasonable price. Lovely sitting right by the river watching the occasional boat and barge go by. Fireworks going off in the distance added to a magical first night in Thailand.Cheery man singing and playing a guitar added to the atmosphere. They also do dinner on a boat that goes round the island and this looked pleasant although we did not do it. Service slightly variable but a delightful waitress even if we could not communicate with her very well. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The Sevensea's is a family run Pub and Restaurant situated opposite the Train Station in Ayutthaya. We offer a variety a dishes, from delicious Thai food, Grilled Steaks, Fresh Baguettes and much more. We welcome everyone, so please come and check us out.
Great tasting food with quality ingredients, the meat was tender and not chewy. The sauces were a good flavour without being too hot. We ate pork with sweet and sour sauce, fried noodles with chicken. The portions were an adequate size with the addition of a serve of steamed rice.
