Well-executed, delicious, and original cuisine. Welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Inside ambiance was nice with original art (for purchase) and fireplace. Outdoor seating also available Reasonable prices for the quality of the food. I had the tataki (red tuna) and cream cheese filled nori rolls, with thin crispy puff pastry crust and soy-based sauce, on a bed of delicious marinated seaweed. Weâve gone twice in 5 days as they are around the corner from our flat in Altea. Went for dinner and I ordered the Pork skewers, which was delicious and not on skewers. It was really flavorful. Hubs enjoyed his steak. The servers were rushed off their feet, it was so busy. So, good for them. They seemed to act as hostess, server and busboy (as we call the people who clean the table after). Even the kitchen staff helped deceived meals we noticed. They had a lovely house red and white (we got one of each). Then a couple of days later we popped in about 9:30 for brekkie, and both ordered the early bird special. 2 pieces of white toast, butter, marmalade, a croissant, 2 scrambled eggs and two pieces of bacon, a glass of fresh orange juice and a regular coffee for â¬5 or 6â¬. I donât remember the exact price. Brekkie was good, after we were served they got really busy. I find it a reliable place. Staff is friendly which makes the experience better.

Had just a few hours to spend before leaving Cap Negret Hotel. We went here for lunch and a drink. Its hard to say the service is good. The food is ok, but not extraordinary, but we where not hungry when we left. Atmosphere and view is ecellent.

The place is very cool! great and friendly environment and they have some delicioussss vegan/vegetarian options. The chef recommended the Vegan Nachos that were the speciality this evening and WOW, the best I had in years (even non vegans said so) and apart from all of that, all the team is super nice. If you're around, don't miss the opportunity and go check El Bar de Confianza!!! Congrats guys

Having just arrived in Altea after a two and a half hour drive (plus another half hour to find parking!) we were gasping for a coffee. As we entered the promenade, this was the first place we saw that had a vacant table and two chairs outside overlooking the sea, so it really beckoned to us!We sat and had our coffees and, having gone inside to "use the facilities" realised it had some fantastic snacks on the bar. This then lead to having a beer and snacks. From the bar, we chose a piece of bread with, I think, Russian Salad on it, another with two small pieces of fried battered hake, and some crispy morsels of octopus. they were all delicious and I was amazed when I got the bill. We had only been charged 1⬠for the food! I queried this, because I expected it to be at least 3 or 4â¬, but was assured this was correct. Amazing!We wish that we had had time during our short visit to return here but hopefully will be able to do so next time.

We picked this restaurant as we wanted to try the tapas advertised in the ruta de tapa booklet. It was delicious. Very friendly staff, nice outdoor seating area. One suggestion - tidy up the ladies toilet area and it would improve the place no end :)

We visited here a couple of times. Great service by the waitresses. Good people watching spot. Lovely selection of wines (some very local). Delicious food. Best Croquettes I have tried, patatas bravas were tasty. It is also a nice gesture that you get free tapa with every drink.will definitely return.

Went there with friends. Non professional staff. Drinks are expensive. Nice terrace but too noisy because of the traffic. Inside the place you will find too many tables. The place is pretty stuffed. Definitely you can find "easy" places in town by the seaDear airman74,Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. Just back from an amazing holiday in the very pretty Altea. We came to this bar a few nights whilst we were there and enjoyed it very much. The staff were really lovely and friendly, we had great mojitos and nibbles whilst watching the world go by. It's situated on one of the many pretty streets in Altea, near the church.
