Things to do in Myrtleford
The friendly service of the waitress pulls rating up from two to three. A friendly, happy and helpful person. The lamb grill and schnitzel were tasty. All up to scratch without being special.Eating environment was also fine, though it reminded us of an old cowboy show when you walk into a bar and the piano player stops, everyone turns to look at you ... and all you hear is the wiping of a glass from behind the bar.Not a special spot, however it offers up good grills, in a clean environment, assisted by nice people. We'll be back to sample the grill and nice hospitality once again when we're passing through.Dear Guest, thank you very much for providing your feedback following your recent visit to our Club.I am pleased to hear that our service and the food was living up to your expectation. We are looking forward welcoming you back in the near future.Kind RegardsHolger, Club Manager
Stopped for a bite on the way home from a ski day. Some great American style BBQ options off one of the 3 BBQâs our the front. They also brew their own craft beers and some other local drops. music from 4.00pm on a Saturday.
The Myrtleford Hotel is now housing a new Thai Restaurant for a few months. On entering, the restaurant area still looks the same as the "old" pub resto. After finding our table, we were not offered water. We ordered our food and we had to pay on the spot before our order was taken to the kitchen. The drinks had to be ordered and paid for at the bar in the pub area. Within 10 minutes, our food was ready and plated for each of us individually, making it not so inviting to share the food between us. The food was tasty and good. When we finished eating, the plates were taken away, and we were not offered a look at the desert menu. Although the food was good, We did not enjoy this dining experience. It felt like a "Thai" pub were you order- eat- and walk out without any interest or passion for sharing international cuisine with their patrons. We will never dine in here again.

Often pop in for a coffee or lunch. Service is friendly, nice central location, food is good. Great place for breakfast, especially the eggs benedict or the eggs florentine.

Old Victorian Country Hotel and B&B
Great country pub - cosy atmosphere, decent food, fair prices. Ok for families too. Seems a genuine place. Staff were all friendly. Service excellent. Coffee was outstanding - whoever made it knew what they were doing. Exactly what we wanted from a rural pub - hospitality and respite. Wouldn't call food fine dining or haute cuisine - just honest dishes (between us we had the quiche, kids fish and chips, and pea and ham soup).

Unfortunately I am very disappointed from our experience. My husband is allergic to dairy and we understand sometimes itâs hard but the waitress treated us like he chooses not to eat it. She didnât even offer to check with the cook and brushed us off. Very very sad because it was our 2 year wedding anniversary.

We ordered hot chocolates, teas and scones. Must say very satisfied. The scones are massive and the special we had included 2 scones. We shared they are that big. Drinks made quickly. Only forgot our babychino but when asked was made right away. Service is super friendlyHi lousiefenn98,Thank you for your kind review. We appreciate the time you ahve taken to review our lovely scones and friendly staff. It was a pleasure having your group in and look forward to more yummy scones in the near future. We do apologise about your babychino and appreciate your patience. Kindest regards Jess and team

We are open for breakfast, lunch, coffees and cake 8am - 4pm Thursday to Sunday. Now open for dinner every Friday evening from 6pm. Open 6 days school holidays (closed Tuesdays)
We called in here for a quick refreshment, but seeing the menu and the meals as they came out made me wish we were having lunch instead. Everything looked fabulous. The muffin I had was delicioso! Lovely outdoor seating with a playground for kiddies. Thoughtfully decked out inside - loved the use of old doors covered with glass as table tops. Service felt a little chaotic but it was quite a busy morning. Keen to go back and will definitely be booking ahead.

We managed to fit in three visits to Café Chakra during our bike riding holiday in Bright. Their toasties are delicious; the fillings and sauces/chutneys are paired with lovely sourdough bread and toasted perfectly. Cakes baked on the premises are lovely. Specialty coffee and good friendly service always entice us back.
