Things to do in Mount Beauty
Come , experience the destination that is Mountain Creek Bar & Restaurant in beautiful Tawonga. Great food, affordable, and great people all in the best location.
We each had Japanese pork schnitzel. Mine arrived in an unexpected, attractive Bento box. Both meals were delicious! There is a robust Japanese half of the menu and equally robust standard Australian fare on the other side of the menu. Attentive staff ensured a pleasant meal. We sat in the cool, outside on the balcony, accompanied by the country sounds of cows in the paddock across the road. Air conditioning is yet to be installed. The drinks menu contained no surprises.Hello, Thank you for your recent visit at Mountain Creek Bar & Restaurant. We want to provide you with the best service possible. We always stop at the Old Tawonga Store on the way to and from Falls Creek.Friendly owners.Great selection of food and drinks. Our favourite are the toasted sandwiches and home made sausage rolls and they are easy to eat in the car.Why choose fast food when you can have fast wholesome food.

Read plenty of good reviews for this winery and we were bitterly disappointed, the service was sketchy at best and we were the only people there....wine was nice and the starter was good enough for what it was....then everything went downhill, it was almost as if we were served reheated leftovers from the wedding the day before, the beef was inedible, dry overdone and I would be comfortable to say it was one of the worst meals I have eaten. The salmon risotto was also inedible and luckily none of us had the stuffed chicken as it probably was also from the day before. To their credit they did receive the feedback well and gave us 2 main meals for free, however as we didnât eat them it meant little to nothing anyways....shame for such a nice place to go to waste like that and these regular visitors will not be returning or recommending
Went there for lunch on a Sunday and we all had very average mealsThe service was good and the decor and facilities nice and clean However The menu choice for lunch was very limited and the food very averageI had a steak burger that had a paper thin piece of meat tasteless bun a bit of lettuce and beetroot surrounded by chips and a hot sauce Will not be back as I am sure there is better around

We found about about this gem whilst at the local visitor info centre. We went for lunch on Sunday & it was busy as. The food was sensational, both entree & main were quite large so we had no room for dessert. But the flavours & presentation were amazing along with the picturesque views from the beautiful verandah dining area. The wine list was terrific & the staff were full of smiles & so friendly. Canât wait to go back for another sumptuous dining experience.

We have travelled to Fall's Creek most seasons for many years and usually stop at Treats either going up or coming home for a quick snack. If we were overnighting in Mount Beauty it would be great for a full meal I assume.Their sausage rolls with home made tomato sauce are just great with a coffee before embarking on the rest of your journey. After many many visits I decided it was about time to review them!WellThanks for giving us a review !We aim to please, and delight in seeing our customers leave well fed, and happy See you next time

We tried Stockpot on a local recommendation and loved it. We weren't overly hungry so we tried for a few tapas dishes. The Milawa bread was beautiful, we liked the dukkah & olive oil, the salt and pepper calamari was nice the prawns were delicious and so spicy & hot. I liked my Bridge Road ale and for me another big plus was the friendly staff, welcoming, very accommodating and well informed. Would definitely visit again on our next visit.

Woodfired Pizzas Seasonal menu Family Friendly Amazing Desserts Inside a outdoor dining restaurant Fun
A really lovely meal (including a take-away chocolate pizza for my pregnant daughter-in-law). We were staying at The Alpenhorn appartments, which were really just across the road. All the wines were local, and I fell in love with the Annapura ( think that's how it's spelt)Pino Gris and went to the cellar door the next day to buy a dozen.
