A beautiful gem situated in Millthorpe NSW, The Commercial Hotel is located approximately 30km from Orange, 35km from Bathurst and 245km from Sydney. Established and licensed from 1877, this historically listed hotel and building has been fully renovated
Everybody talks about the Railway Hotel at Millthorpe, but I have to disagree,I think the Commercial Hotel is far "Superior" for food of the highest quality. When we found the "Opening Door" into the front bar, their was Reggee Henderson sorting out "dockets" for the hotel. He made us feel very welcomed,he even informed us of the various Menu dishes.Reggee, informed the wife that the Chicken Schnitzel came with a fabulous Mushroom Gravy, vegetables & chips. My option, was the" Chicken Parmie",chips & salad. When the meals arrived at the table, they looked & tasted amazingly superior to anything else we've had on this trip so far. Thanks to Reggee,The Commercial Hotel, and the Town of Millthorpe for such a memorable lunch. We will definitely return here again.

I hope the rest of your weekend was enjoyable. Come back and visit next time you are in the area :)

We had an awesome meal at Tonic. There were four of us and each of us tried something different. Every course was faultless - absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely. Definitely worth the trip down to Millthorpe from Sydney. Can't wait to visit again.
A family-friendly hotel located in Central West NSW, open seven days a week from 10am until late. We do not have accommodation, however, do have the only drive-through bottle shop in town & amazing gaming & TAB facilities. Our bistro, Adelaide's on Adelai
A proper pub with proper pub grub, good selection of tap beers, not a rowdy place on our visit but attracts plenty of locals for a feed and a beer. The meals are very generous and will not leave you wanting more and are well priced.Thank you for your review, Greg! We definitely wish that no one leaves the hotel hungry, so are glad to hear that you enjoyed it.

Pleasant staff. Spacious and full of the usual variety of characters that you expect to find in a country pub. Would certainly pop in for a beer if I were in town again.

What a great country hotel. Great staff friendly hotel with nice dacor. Meals are some of the best I have ever experienced. Pork spare ribs..best ever anywhere to die for. Just had the special Pork belly with chili caramel and zesty apple slaw. Absolute one of the best meals I have ever had, and I have done a lot of travelling.
