Excellent food that is prepared fresh when you order it. But because of this, the wait can be very long and often they will bring out one order at a time for those of us at the same table. We've finished the first dish before the others came out! But the food was very good! Lunch buffet is wonderful and a great way to try many of their dishes! Friendly staff

My cousin and I stopped for there lunch buffet recently. The place is small with simple decor. If your looking for ambience you may want to go somewhere else? The food was wonderfully fresh and the buffet choices were simple but very adequate considering the nominal cost. The man working the counter set us up with a beverage and was very friendly and accommodating. For like $7 you get a very nice selection and my way of rating these type of establishments is how fresh and well prepared the vegetables are. Mr. Wok's veggies were exceptional. I plan to return for dinner soon as I heard there volcano chicken is excellent and has always been a favorite of mine. I highly reccomend giving this place a try.

Some of the food is not too bad, but all in all, its about time to tear it down and rebuild. This is one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever been in, my hat is off to them and those who dine there.

The staff were good (not great). The food was horrible. The egg roll was oily. I ordered sesame chicken and my date ordered sweet and sour chicken. We could barely cut the chicken it was so tough- let alone chew and swallow it. The coating on the sweet and sour chicken was raw on the inside. YUCK! The atmosphere is dingy. The table appeared clean when we sat down, but when moving things like the soy sauce, we saw dirt and grime.

I have eaten here a number of times and it is consistently good. They are a small family Chinese restaurant with a fairly small buffet. I typically go during the lunch hour. They have a good mix of options and their price is reasonable. They typically do not have many staff. Today they had someone cooking in the back and another personal handling the cash register and waiting on tables. Since most everyone gets the buffet they can get away with this. Today we seated ourselves and were at the buffet before anyone noticed that we were there, but we had waters waiting for us when we got back to our table and the staff person asked if we wanted anything else to drink right away. She also cleared our used plates from the table quickly. I enjoy this place and think that you will too!

I'm picky...about everything. Food, cleanliness, service...you name it! We have pulled into the parking lot of Pho-King more times than I'd like to admit and then I have decided that we shouldn't stay. Mainly, because it seems like nobody is ever there! Last night, I promised myself that we would eat at Pho-King no matter what and I'm so glad we did!So, I guess I discovered a little gem of a restaurant that only a few in Waukesha seem to be giving a chance. When we arrived there was only one other couple dining in the place, but by the time we left there were 7 other tables full and a customer waiting for take-out. Fingers crossed that this location doesn't lose another restaurant. I over-heard the waiter tell another customer that they no longer have a liquor license, which I do not see as a good sign. So, it's a big menu and I'm not very adventurous, but it didn't matter I found recognizable items. We ordered the Crab Ragoon Appetizer. It was a very generous order and the filling was very flavorful, while the outside wonton was crisp and not greasy.I finally settled on the Kung-Po Beef (tho I believe the name might have been slightly different) without onions. I can't begin to describe the amazing flavors in this dish. It blew any beef dish I've had a at a Chinese restaurant out of the water. So many wonderful spices and the beef was tender. It was perfect! My hubby ordered his first ever Pho (Vegetable and Tofu minus the Tofu). I think we were both stunned at the amount of flavor packed into the lightly colored broth. I fell in love. Bean sprouts, a different type of basily flavored herb, a couple of jalapeñosand a lime were served on the side, so he had fun messing around with that as well. Our waiter was excellent and did a great job of explaining items and when he noticed that I had managed to eat all of the meat and only leave the pile of veggies on my plate along with a small portion of rice, he asked if everything was still alright. I told him that I'm just not a big vegetable person and he told me to let him know next time and he'd have the chef prepare the dish with extra beef and less veggies! When it came time to pack up the left-overs and there were a lot, as the servings were very large, we were even more impressed. The chef brought out an extra bowl of broth to be added to my husband's Pho! To me, that is going above and beyond.I was thrilled with our entire experience at Pho-King and I can't wait to take our friends and family. Our server was so friendly and helpful and the food was some of the best I've had in a long time. I really hope more people give this place a chance!

Nestled in the quaint city of Waukesha, is a gem of mouth pleasing Japanese sushi and sashimi creations. I have had the pleasure of visiting this lovely restaurant many times and have always enjoyed its variety and service. Standard menu items are regularly enhanced with the daily special board that keeps your taste buds excited for a new exotic taste or flavor blend. A warm greeting from Jen is always a guarantee and then she will assign you to one of their dining tables with a willing waiter on hand. Choose any of their offerings as I have yet to find one I did not enjoy. Then come back often as Jen will remember you!

Winner of the "Top 10 Chinese Restaurants in America" 2010 Award, Channel 12's Alist "Best Chinese Restaurant in Milwaukee Area" 2007-2010 Award. Family owned since 1980. Chinese & America Cuisines, Noon Lunch Buffet, Carry-outs, Full Bar and a gift shop.
Ordered on my way home for takeout. chefs fried rice (delicious), Kung Pao chicken medium (delicious), sesame chicken (too much sweet sauce but chicken was excellent quality). Would have liked toasted sesame seeds fried into chicken batter and not just sprinkled over top of goopy sauce. Pot stickers were sub-average. Overall we were very pleased with the quality and freshness of our meal. Chefs fried rice a real winner as far as I was concerned and my husband voted for the chicken kung pao. Yummy good place!
