Excellent sushis and each dish is beautifully presented, great work of the chef and great service. I am Japanese myself and it is hard to find a authentic Japanese restaurant but I recommend Izumi and this is the only Japanese restaurant that I go in aix!

The place is very small but the food is wonderful; as far as I know, it's the only restaurant where you can eat Ramens in the region. The staff is cool though quite difficult to understand since they have a strong Japanese accent. We were served quite quickly and the meals were all delicious and succulent.BUT (!) if you're vegetarian, you'll only one or two possibilities to eat. And, children don't have a special meal which is a pity because young children generally don't like raw fish for instance...

A very unusual restaurant, most of the seating downstairs, stair case is quite steep. A nice warm atmosphere and pleasant staff who were very helpful with the selection of dishes. We found the food to be really tasty, nicely presented, care obviously taken. The only negative we found was what to order as everything looked so good. We thought it was incredibly good value. Would definitely return and recommend.

Jade dâAsie offers a wide selection of Asian dishes from dim sum to woks and grilled foods, but as with most buffets the food suffers from being kept warm all the time so that the flavors are all rather the same. Efficient service and reasonably priced. Plenty of choice. The spring rolls were our favorite item.

J'ai diné à cet endroit et je trouve qu'il mérite d'être référencé sur votre site
No English menu but the friendly French waiter spoke English. We had a decent and cheap Luberon cave de Bonnieux red for 9 euros! The red curry chicken, vegetable vermicelli rolls and chicken spring rolls were all good.Apparently the chef is Cambodian although born in France.Worth a visit.

The handmade dim sums of the restaurant les Pâtites bouchées are the best Iâve ever tasted, as simple as that. The experience was so great my boyfriend and I decided to go back there during our 5 days stay in Aix en Provence. The menu offers many different flavours (good to know: they have veggie options!). As we couldn't choose, we decided to try them all. Although those little wonders enclosed within those treasure boxes are equally delicious, my favourites remain the chicken and lime dim sums. The flavours that come out of these steamed dumplings are extraordinary. We took 2 different sides the first day: my boyfriend had a perfectly seasoned beef tataki and I opted for the green cabbage salad. The second day we went for the mango and papaya salad, that was just fantastic. Their sweet and sour taste gave the perfect match to what we ordered. Each bite brings an explosion of exotic flavours. All of this was accompanied by a fantastic wine suggested by the waitress and owner of the restaurant. Then, came the matcha green tea panna cotta, which is beyond of just being a dessert. It was heaven. Not only the food was insanely delicious but the tasteful and elegant decor of the restaurant brought something truly special to our dinner. I encourage anyone to go visit this lovely space and live the same unforgettable experience we had.

How did this place get so many great reviews? Coming from California, possibly we are spoiled with so many sushi restaurants, but this place felt like amateur hour. Our California rolls fell apart on the plate before we could eat them, revealing unidentifiable green stringy vegetables and inexpertly hacked eel. It tasted bland and was hard to get through. The salmon and avocado maki nori had very little avocado and the salmon was tough. Miso-tofu soup was plentiful in quantity but lacked any kind of refinement. The whole ordeal took two hours as one guy served as sushi maker, waiter and phone-order taker. We finally left without receiving our final item because we could not bear to wait any longer. We should have listened to the hostess at our Bed and Breakfast, who explicitly warned us against going here.

We have had several meals here since we arrived in Provence some 8 months ago - all of which have been served with impecable politeness and efficiency in a spotlessly clean environment. This restaraunt is a true credit to its owners and serves some of the tastiest and authentic far eastern meals around.Wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes, with several house specialities, all of which have their own unique flavours.Lovely setting, tucked away off the main street in a small square, which all adds to the overall ambience. Outside seating is cool and shaded, whilst the inside area is equally appealing.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaraunt to anyone and we will certainly be returning again in the very near future.
