Visited last weekend for a lunchtime meal with the family. From the outside the restaurant doesn't fill you with a lot of optimism, but the restaurant opens up into a far larger area behind, plus there's also a downstairs restaurant but this wasn't open at the time. As it was lunchtime the place was quiet, in fact we were the only ones there. The service and food was excellent and the staff very friendly without being overly so. Reasonably priced at approx. £80 for 4 of us including wine. Will definitely return and would highly recommend

An attractively modern Indian restaurant, Bombay Butler is a favourite in the busy airport town of Stansted. Who needs to take a long flight to India when the best of that countrys beloved cuisine is available right here? Bombay Butler prides itself on
This place was crowded with happy diners at 9 pm last night. The proprietor of my B&B (Chimneys, also an excellent find) had recommended this restaurant. The waitstaff was just attentive enough, without being intrusive. I knew I wanted samosas; they arrived piping hot and were delicious. Iâd asked for a recommendation for one of the six or so vegetarian choices and so went with the neramish (niramish). While not spiced as heavily as some Indian dishes Iâve ordered, it was flavorful and tasty. Super large serving, and I completely overate it as well as the biryani rice. I very much enjoyed my dining experience at Bombay Butler!

I had a really bad meal from this Restaurant in the past, and the Manager would not refund my money. Only wanted to give me another meal. But this would have meant my family not eating at the same time. A friend said give them another chance. So i thought one more try. Rang and ordered food, when got there to pick it up, the manager ranted at me about leaving them a bad review and said unless i take it off he would not serve me, or give me the discount he promised. At this point i said i would not remove the review as people need to see true feedback. but i would if this meal was good leave a new review. I was again shouted at and told he would not serve me. So i left and will never use this restaurant again. If this restaurant thinks it can treat customers like this they don't deserve our custom. Steer clear of this Restaurant at all costs.

Why people complain about how long the food takes to arrive, baffles me. Wouldnât these people rather their food was cooked fresh rather than just reheated microwave crap. Sorry to those people who want their food fast, I think you will find that the local McDonalds is not that very far away at Duxford services may serve you better. If you want superb freshly cooked and are prepared to wait for Thai food, then go and eat at Ananta Thai Food Pub. If you want to eat fast food, then there are plenty of âfast foodâ joints about Dear Simon,Thank you very much for your review. Sometimes I am tempted to reply some reviews with your exact words but I cannot do it because it is a personal opinion. We work very hard in our restaurant and our goal is to make ALL customers happy with the food and service. We get very upset when someone didn't enjoy the experience, even it is only a small percentage of customers it does affect us a lot. We would like to please 100% of our customers but it is very difficult because all customers have different expectations and we also are not perfect, we make mistakes from time to time although we try to learn from our them to improve.I hope to see you around soon,Best wishesSergio

The Authentic Flavors Of Sylheti Cuisine At The Pride Os Sylhet Restaurant.there Reputation For The Attention To Details, fine Ingredients, low Cholesterol Sunflower Oil,no Coloring And Excellent Service Wait You.
We used to have two really good Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants in Dunmow. This and the Jalsa Ghar. Now, weâve two ordinary ones.Food here is on a par with the other, but considerably cheaper.Service is bad. Not inept, just rude and uninterested.Good for a takeaway but wouldnât want to sit there only to be dictated to and rushed through a meal. Food can be thrown at you if theyâre under the pump.

Sunday night deal with 20% off made this, a cost effective and first rate meal.Only negative for me was waiters coming up constantly and asking if we were finished when it was, quite obvious by fork in mouth that we, weren't.Would eat here anytime however especially now they have their alcohol license back

Thai restaurant in rural West Essex offering a tasty selection of both traditional, modern and adapted dishes to either dine-in or take-away.
Came across this restaurant, when staying overnight in Great Dunmow. The food was delicious and the service efficient. The food came out in a timely manner. Thank you for your kind review, we hope we get the opportunity to serve again in the future. Regards. Samui.

Visited on a Tuesday. There were a reasonable amount of people in the restaurant. Prompt service. Popadoms and dips arrived very quickly and although they didnât have the bottle of Malbec I wanted, they then brought all the other reds they had.... The Shiraz (at 14⢠proof -right up my street) was a really good wine. We shared Mixed starters which were good value. I then had a lamb shank - Not many Indian restaurants do this and itâs a great dish. The other half had Garlic Clilli chicken & thoroughly enjoyed it (and sheâs very fussy when it comes to curry (she loves it so much))Toilets were very clean - always a good sign. My only real critique (and this is just me being a bit of a prude) would be that The owner (Roni) who served us was in jeans, trainers and casual top - Would prefer to see him in smarter clothing.Anyway - Thanks for a great meal - we both thoroughly enjoyed it!
