Spacious and airy dining room. "All you can Eat Buffet, â¬11.90, with a range of salads, Chinese starters and warm dishes, but the Wok counter took a wider choice of menu. I didn't try it, as I had been hoping to find the old favourites like sweet 'n sour anything or lemon chicken..... what was there was very fresh and well presented, including some Sushi. The desserts were very Asiatic plus a wide choice of ice cream flavours. The mark up on drinks was in line with many restaurants in France....â¬4 for half a shandy? I would be glad to find it when on a long car journey but I wouldn't go out of my way to return, although it's near my home.

Smart , well spaced tables. Very attentive staff, used plates were very quickly cleared from your table. Good selection of starters and main dishes pre made on the buffet, also cold seafood selection plus steak strips, prawns, scallops, chicken fillet etc raw along with veg to take to the chef to freshly cook for you. 16.80 ⬠pp in the evening. Went as staying at Inter hotel, restaurant La Cuisine was closed. This restaurant only about 200 m away from the hotel. Would use again if in the area. Good experience

We have visited this restaurant a few times before. On first visit late at one lunchtime we had an exceptional meal. Second time around it was reasonable, but disappointing. Visiting in February, having booked for lunch, we were very underwhelmed. The restaurant wasn't busy but service was slow. We ordered a mix of different dishes. Nothing was very fresh, which is unusual for Chinese restaurants. The menu is quite extensive, and indeed on our first visit we sampled many of the chef's specialities, as we did this time. We were disappointed with the whole experience this time. The cost was ninety three euros and eighty cents.. without wine. We might think twice about returning.
Très bon Accueil,Personnel bienveillant et efficace.Décoration moderne. Choix varié de plats, copieux, manque un peu de raffinement. Bon rapport qualité prix

After my somewhat disagreeable (to put it mildly) visit to just out-of-town Niort, Restuarant de Chine for which I generously offered a 'one star' rating (since zero wasn't available as a rating). The very nice lady at Bessine's where I ate marvellously last night told me to try one in the town centre and I can confirm its a worthy experience. The location is pretty handy its just round the corner from the main area in central Town near all the trendy bar/cafe places. The place itself looks a bit dark from the outside and inside its a bit tired and surely needs a lick o paint and a decent clean. For some reason the relative dingeyness gave me the feeling the food might just be interesting. The menu is in French only, and nobody is speaking English there. I could identify poulet with confirmation from the picture it was Chicken, and coco so went for it and hoped for the best. The dish came on a sizzling platter and looked good, and tasted better - really nice substantial flavour actually and a reasonable sized portion with rice. One beer, total just under 14 Euro I can't complain. I took a window seat, there were a few flies which was annoying but it was a very humid evening. As well as Thai, you have Vietnamese and Chinese dishes (apparently) on the menu. Its probably not the top place to take your chick or family unless theyt do it up a bit, but if you go there for the love of Asian food like me it is well worth a visit. Next time I'll take my night-vision goggles and a little sanitising cloth for the table and enjoy it even more.

Chose this restaurant because we wanted something different from the normal fare of a small French town. We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and the wine reasonably priced. The format of the meal is a little odd if your from the UK where oriental food tends to come as a mix and match selection off the menu. In France it's starter, salad, main course and dessert. However the soup was great and the salad, a sort of coleslaw made with (I think) rice wine vinegaret was delicious. The mains we chose included vegetarian options as well as meat an dumplings. All good. The deserts were the weakest part of the menu, pre made frozen things. Not great but ok, I would recommend you ask which ones are served hot and go for them. The only real downer was on paying. Despite having a MasterCard sticker on the door they couldn't take the offered UK MasterCard. We could pay other ways but it could have been difficult.

Second time here, quality impeccable. Choice relatively small, but fear not what is there is the best. Salad calamari, really really really amazing taste, perfectly prepared lean calamari. I had Maki also, great taste, plus Miso soup lovely and a hot chicken skewered dish just delicious. Chef is not Japanese but trained in Paris. Food not just great flavour, presented perfectly. Really exceptional, a cut above most Asian competition. Www.niort-sushi.com

Authentique thai cuisine
This was one of my best experiences in a Thai restaurant. Firstly all the plates we have tried were simply delicious, very well prepared and quite well served. But, what impressed me the most (unfortunately, rare nowadays) was the freshness of the ingredients. Superb! Also, vegetarian friendly! almost all dishes have a Tofu option. Lastly, unexpectedly ... I was amazed by the spring-rolls. Excellent filling, excellent cooked. a really nice surprise Price more than acceptable for what is offered (except the wine list ... I would recommend to have a lower range wine for those not willing to spend â¬20 in a bottle) Highly recommended 5*
