Had a reservation for an anniversary celebration, had it booked for 3 weeks, arrived and it was closed! A rubbish note on a locked door saying closed for technical issues. I understand these things happen but the restuarant had all our contact details and they could have let us know prior to us wasting our time making our way there. We have been there multiple times and there is nothing to say about the food, which is really really good. But it is not acceptable that between each round of the dinner we had to wait longer than 25 minutes and it took overall 3 hours to get dinner. The main option offered by this restaurant is the all you can eat for a price which is not cheap if compared to other places in the city and also requires you to wait always for the food to get cooked. If the time between each round is not optimized by the restaurant, then the âall you can eatâ makes no sense anymore, except if the people wait there for ages.I hope it is an isolated experience because was far from acceptable.In behalf of the entire staff of our restaurant we just want to say thank you for your honest feedback and having the time to comment your dinner at our restaurant. We appreciate your comments and your honesty and are glad to read that you enjoyed the food in our restaurant. However we regret the fact, that you had to wait too long to get your food. A really good experience of food and service. Ripoff prices....Sushi and Sashimi are way apart from a great Micherlin Star experience..its just ordinary Japanese food! Whý so expensive? Boring! Where does this hipe come from? For a Michelin Star, I am ready for something new! Creative! I did not find that at that evening. The service was okay, but nobody had any idea about the wines...how could You get a Michelin Star?

Eher unauffällig kommt der Lay Thai Imbià in der Venloer Strasse daher, ist aber auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Die Köchin kommt wirklich aus Thailand und sogar aus Bangkok, wo sich sozusagen die besten Küchen aus allen Landesteilen vereinen. Die Portionen sind üppig bemessen, nicht zu scharf (es kann jeder gern nachwürzen ) und schmecken "wie echt". Tip: mit Freunden essen gehen und dann die Gerrichte teilen, dann kann jeder von allem probieren. So machen es die leute in Thailand immer.

Nice location and view over the water but the restaurant is typical of such a hotel - bordering on a little soulless. Tables well spaced. Food generally good but a tad hit and miss, dessert was really good. Service for the most part was attentive and friendly. Maybe very good is a bit overdone, but this Thai restaurant deserves more that just average. I went here with colleagues to have a bite and we had a nice evening. The dishes were tastefull, the protions were good, the service polite a the bill of good value. Not in the mood for a schnitzel then this Thai is a good alternative.
