Things to do in Los Gatos
Sushi E sits in a small shopping center on the fringe of Los Gatos. They have less than a dozen tables. It is never crowded, but they do quite a big take-out business. Their helpings are generous and always good. Favorites of mine are their shrimp tempura and spicy tuna roll.

Having heard a range of horror stories about Katsu after it opened, I was planning to steer clear. However, to be fair, one of the investors came forward with a fairly public apology about the approach and an offer to local residents to come and see the change. My wife and I took him up on his challenge and here's what we found:1. The greeter on the door couldn't have been more helpful and friendly2. The barman serves a mean cocktail but they are expensive and a little over-spiced if you are going to eat3. The ambience is hip metro but doesn't really work when there are so few people there4. The waiter was a bit dozy and get some of our order wrong5. The food is good but the sauces we had, while delicious, somewhat overpowered the dishes6. The wine list was good but very expensive. With that said, any restaurant serving Chateau Musar gets a thumbs up from me.Overall, a good rather than a great experience. We will go back but probably not often given the price point.

I've been eating at this place off and on for many years and I think its some of the best Chinese food that I've tried. My favorite things on the menu are the chicken salad, it has a slight spicy mustard taste which I love. I also love the sizzling rice soup and the garlic prawns. One thing that I didn't care for is the interior lighting seemed to be much brighter than it used to be, maybe they could dim the lights just a touch because it hurt my eyes. A great little cozy restaurant to eat at when its raining outside. Enjoy!

I often dine at this place, for lunch or dinner. The personnel is very friendly, and the Japanese food is very good. The sushi and sashimi are always very fresh and tasty.

This place is on pricey side because it's located in the heart of downtown Los Gatos.Food was mediocre, service was not great either. If you are in the area and craving Thai food, the best time to try it would be weekday for lunch.

While visiting my aunt in rehab. just down the road, well Yeung Shing was our pick, not much open on a Sunday evening. We ordered rice, beef w/string beans, veg. deluxe and chef's special "orange chicken". Over all our choices were good, nothing really to rave about, but the orange chicken, all 4 of us could not figure out or understand why the "orange chicken" was so darn chewy!!! We mean super chewy to the point we stop eating it!

We love Thai Spice. Every dish is delicious. I have never had a bad meal here. We like the asparagus chicken, pad thai, coconut soup and many other dishes. Service is excellent. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Very affordable for the quality of food. Highly recommend.

Kamakura reminds me of the Japanese restaurant where my family dined weekly in San Fran. The sushi is good but not extraordinary. The range of rolls offered is amazing. The fry on the termpura is perfect, as is the Nabeyaki udon. Solid reliable Japanese food at a fair price

Excellent food - the wild mushroom soup and the special beef filet were wonderful. My husband very much enjoyed his duck confit. The service was also outstanding - our waiter was very attentive and pleasant under difficult circumstances. The disappointing part of the evening was the extreme level of noise in the dining room. We were seated across from a very loud, rude celebratory party of 12. Since we could not hear each other talk, we rushed through our dinner to escape. There was probably nothing the management could have done about the situation at that time, but it certainly ruined our evening. Until some changes in policy or the physical set-up of the restaurant are made, I would not recommend Nick's for a special evening such as the one we were anticipating.
