I was so excited when I saw this food truck; we literally âsavedâ our meal here for one of our last days on island. We were so disappointed. We ordered the shumai stick (slathered in a heavy sauce that ruined it), breakfast sandwich (dry and flavorless), poke nachos (again, heavy disgusting sauce, still partially frozen and pale tuna, inedible) and shrimp bao (the best of the worst- basically fried shrimp on a flat bao- like a taco). Maybe Hawaiian-style dim sum is supposed to be this heavy and clunky? Regardless, we did not like it and threw almost everything away. I was frustrated we wasted a meal here.

We stopped for a meal here before going on a cruise, and had a couple of rice plates. The food was really good - the vegetables fresh and crisp not over-cooked, the chicken tender and perfectly done. It wasn't a busy time, and we found the service was prompt really helpful - so much so that we wondered if the lady was the owner of the restaurant. I'd definitely go there again if I was in the vicinity.

Nice breeze sitting on the corner outside. However it took three attempts to get a draft beer based on rotation of kegs.Pad tai was sweet? We also had a Bangkok bowl that was okay.Then we order some to go and they screwed that up and we waited for the second dish.Marc and Kim,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. While I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed our beautiful outdoor dining, I'm disappointed our service and food didn't quite live up to expectations. Our group of shared Pad Thai (very good), Tom Kha soup (excellent), fresh vegetable rolls (excellent), green curry (excellent) and fried rice (ok). We all enjoyed our meal. Service was friendly and efficient. Thereâs picnic tables, but we chose to eat at our rental. Highly recommend if youâre wanting very good Thai at reasonable prices.

We went once and returned another time before we left because we loved loved loved it. The fish was beyond perfect, the prices average (which in Hawaii means high), the experience delightful. Desserts are great too. You can't miss at this place.

My wife and I had dinner at Royâs Eating House 1849 in Koloa in late September 2019. My wife had the Butterfish bowl and I had the Blacken Ahi. My Ahi was excellent however, my wifeâs Butterfish was fishy tasting and disappointing. Our service was slow for reasons never explained to us. Royâs is expensive and it is nice to treat yourself to a great meal occasionally but our dining experience was not special that evening. We have eaten at numerous Royâs before and will again as this dining experience was probably an anomaly. There is free parking nearby.

We've been looking for a good plate lunch close to Poipu. We finally found it! Fast friendly service from this small, well worn restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly guy as we checked out the menu. While we debated, several locals came in and ordered up their food. Our food was better than expected. Awesome Loco Moco complete with runny eggs and a delish #3 special.Decent portions - we shared two meals for a family of four. As an added bonus, only 5 minutes to Salt Pond Beach. What an awesome find!!

The pork belly is amazing. It's surprisingly light and a little spicy. The turmeric hibiscus tea is sublime and refreshing. There's a lovely table inside the warehouse where you can eat out of the sun. The food is reasonably priced and they take credit cards.

We visited this place on the recommendation of a local. They also recommended the smoked meats there. I must say that they were delicious. However, I made the mistake of ordering the brisket which, while very tasty, was extremely fatty. Locals later told me that the pork was the better bet.
