If you want a restaurant you can count on for eat in or take out Chinese food, this is the place. The food is always good, prices reasonable. Is it the best Chinese food? No....but it is family friendly....yes. It is fresh and portions large.

The interior is nicely decorated and the place is perfect for date nights. The bar area is spacious and the dining room is very nice. It is also a great place for a group. The food is good quality asian fusion. Sushi is fresh.

My friend and I met for lunch. Her birthday is this Friday. We each had an appetizer. She had the spring rolls. I had the Kani salad. I ordered the Mango Lovers roll. It was bland. It needed something salty. Too sweet. For a surprise, the staff came out with four fried Oreos and a candle. So sweet.

We ate here with our kids this past Sunday. Everything we ordered, was clearly older fish, as it smelled. Some items to the point that you couldn't eat them. When you go to good sushi restaurants, you cannot smell the fish when it arrives at the table, especially items like raw Tuna. Even the $15 a piece Fatty Tuna was clearly past its prime. Shame on us for going to place in the suburbs on a Sunday. Shame on Nisen for serving it. Will not go back.

I have passed this place 100s of times and didn't expect much. But we decided to try it the other night. I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was inside. We got 2 apps and 2 entrees and they both were really good. This day and age it's really hard to find good Chinese food! But I will definitely be coming back to Tings in the future.

The food at this Asian Restaurant is simply outstanding. The crispy Duck main dish is the best. The service is also very good. The tables are quiet but the hibachi room is rather noisy.

This has been several restaurants in the time that I've lived around here, and I was a regular at Azuma. Now that it's Akebono, we decided to give it a try. We've tried takeout a few times now and service was fast, accurate, and tasty. Prices are reasonable. I haven't visited for a sit-down meal yet, but highly recommend it for takeout.

Great place! We enjoyed a huge portion of unusual but subtly spiced chicken (shish leek murgh) which was delicious! We asked the waiter if he could identify the spices for us, but he told us that the recipe was a secret. Our friend enjoyed her generous spinach and lamb dish (sabsi chalaw) The restaurant is very traditionally decorated with Afghan rugs. Service was fine. This restaurant is a winner!Thank you kindly for your words. We work hard at making sure we leave each and every one of our patrons with great smiles and a happy stomach.
