We had lunch at Yao today based upon the TripAdvisor review. My elderly mother, who lives in the area, had been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for several years. We were not disappointed. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was impeccably clean. The food arrived in 10 mins piping hot. Lunch included a spring roll, fried rice, choice of soup, a stuffed wonton and the main courses. We had the sesame chicken and cashew chicken. Both were excellent. The fried rice and spring rolls were sumptuous and not greasy; well done! We highly recommend Yao for the food and value.

I'm writing this as I'm still sitting in the booth! The staff here is wonderful and the food is amazing. Best of all, I had the gluten free option, using the guide that they provided. Yum!!!!! I appreciate their flexibility and knowledge of the food they serve. Lots of variety and super fresh ingredients. Wish this restaurant was in Montana where we are from!! Finally! A really good and very authentic Chinese restaurant in the area! Thank you!! I was about to give up. We had friends who recommended this Asian bistro to us. We really liked it a lot. We will be back. The restaurant feels very inviting when you walk in. The decor is very nice. The seating is very comfortable; they have both tables and booths. It doesn't feel like a hodge podge or low budget place. They did a great job making the restaurant look like a nice place. The employees are very friendly and want to make your dining experience very pleasant. Second, the quality of food is really good. Choice cuts of meat, thank you so much! The portion sizes were very generous. The "hot and spicy" dishes really are hot and spicy. Even for the men in my family who really like hot and spicy. So next time we go we're going to ask them if they can cut back on the hot peppers and see how that goes. While we were there, quite a few people came in to pick up "to go" orders. So that's a good option. Last piece of information - read the fortune inside your cookie, but don't be disappointed if the cookie isn't that great.

This place is amazing! Their sushi chef is incredible. We ate here with our family for dinner on a Saturday night. It was one of the best sushi restaurants we've ever had the pleasure of eating at, and we're so satisfied with our experience. We can't wait to go back!! This restaurant is actually very small. So it can fill up fast. And it's a favorite with those who live nearby. So best of luck when you go! We were able to get right in. Our waiter had a few miscommunications with our orders, but when we pointed them out the problems were resolved quickly. Our number #1 pick for sushi, for sure!!

Itâs a lot of show, food was slow, but food, in fact it was going ok for our group of 13, our nephew's 17th birthday party for family and friends.They missed our seating time by 5 minutes, a first time for many in the group and we never got a real exclamation from the server as to what to expect, so a little delay on that missed step, the birthday song was really cute the first couple of times, but on the 23 time, ouch really!The cook was very entertaining with the cooking show antics, squirting at a distance special drinks, flipping zucchini into peoples mouths, lighting firesThen the grill top goes out, no heat so half the food is not cooked and half the group did not eat there meat with their rice, the rice was excellent but gone by the time the entree and vegetables showed were cooked. The half of the group was on my side that was delayed. After the second round of squirt bottles in our group' s mouths, the grill behind the cook is hot enough to cook salmon, chicken and grilled vegetables No apology from manager, a server hands the cook the phone and we guessed the call went like this "hello Osaka (Houston)we have a problem" in very loud Japanese, he had already turned on second grill. Lighters and helpers showed up from ever where. It was very obvious the 800 pound Grill was in the room and we had uncooked food. Cook kept dancing, may be a second salad or another appetizer complimentary or an apology and a 10% discount, or 20 $ of your next visit.Something that showed that they regretted the delay and appreciate our business, instead we got another of let me squirt something in your mouth from 3 feet.They could have recovered for the better.

Came with another couple for a late lunch. Sat at bar. Very extensive cocktail menu. Drinks expertly made. Food was incredibly good! Tuna chips, calamari fries, a kimchi burger, pad Thai and Szechuan catfish were all off the charts. Extremely attentive and pleasant service. If returning to the area, this will be high on my list. Highly recommended.

Monday-Saturday from 4-6pm they have an awesome happy hour. I love their specialty martinis. Plus they have food & beer specials for happy hour too. I love the magic mike martini! The service at this place has always been better than any other place around. The staff remembers you & makes you feel welcome.

Went to this restaurant tonight with friends who have been here before. Our first visit. Staff were very friendly and informative. Had lots of suggestions. Hot and sour soup...delicious. Our three dishes, Mongolian beef, stir fried veggies and general tso chicken were excellent. All came out very fast and hot. The sauces were not thick and sticky but flavourful and perfect. Then there is the entertainment. Really good band and singer playing all sorts of music. Listened to some Frank Sinatra, Elvis, George Strait, Louis Armstrong (fabulous), Johnny Cash, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, etc. etc. Was a wonderful evening. Food and entertainment for $20.00 per person. Loved it.
