I had a tofu and vegetable dish. It was quite good. The tofu was nice and firm and the vegetables were crisp. The other order was chicken wings which were really delicious. as well. We did it just before they closed. They were cordial and willing to stay open a little longer for this order. They did lock the door behind us. My partner usually does not eat vegetarian but did love the tofu.

Based on reviews, I was excited to eat here. Walking in, the decor was drab and outdated, but that was fine. I enjoy a nice âmom and popâ type place and donât expect anything fancy. The waitress was super great. We got our food quickly and I have to say that it was some of the best Chinese food Iâve had. During the meal we had to visit the restrooms. That is where it all went bad. The restrooms are located down a hallway and across from the kitchen. The hallway, back area, and restrooms were absolutely disgusting. Iâve honestly never seen such filth in any restaurant. I canât believe the health dept hasnât looked into it. I think there may be black mold actually. Anyway, there went our appetites. After leaving, I read Yelp reviews and there were actual pictures that diners put up showing the disgusting state of the back of this place. A week later they had disappeared. (The pictures, not the person that posted them. Lol)

Passing through Duluth as tourists and picked this for an early dinner close to our hotel. Super all around. The appetizer sampler was top of the line...wantons, pot stickers, dumplings, and tempura sweet potato fries. We had rice bowls, excellent. Miso soup was very good. Sushi roll was done well. Great attentive service. It was located as an attachment to a gas station. They do well in a converted fast food space.

Decent rolls, but not top quality. Salmon not quite fresh, miso a bit sour, salads made with iceberg lettuce. $14 for pad thai is a bit much for Duluth. Mocha-Covered ice cream is nothing special. The ginger is very good. Nice staff, comfortable booths.

We recently met up with friends at Osaka for dinner. We had some great sushi - spicy tuna is my favorite! Also had the traditional hibachi dinner (not the grill this time, but we have done it and it's great dinner entertainment - kids love it!). My husband is a self-proclaimed "Bloody Mary connoisseur" Believe it or not, this place has one of the best Bloody Mary's in the area! We even went back a few weeks later to have them again. Yum. All the food was very good and we all agreed we'd be back soon.

We debated but thought we try to eat healthy. I had tea which was hot and tasted like Lipton, which I liked. Our orders came and the food amount was unbelievable. I had pineapple and mock duck. The order came with a good selection of veggies but the sauce was not flavorful. My husband sweet and sour but wasnât mixed with veggies. You dipped your pork into the sauces. Filling but not satisfying. Good service provided. Not going to return.

I love vintage buildings...and this restaurant offers a fun atmosphere! We were there for a quick meal -- we ordered cheese burgers, mac and cheese, a Reuben sandwich and a big hot pretzel. The fries were fabulous...the burgers fantastic. The Reuben did not disappoint!! The mac and cheese was good along with the hot pretzel. The service was friendly and well done. The pretzel was not the best I have ever had...but still enjoyable. I will most definitely be back...and I will get that Reuben again for absolute sure!!! There are games for kids to play with -- it is a very family friendly place. The dining is upstairs however there is an elevator for those who prefer not to use steps. This is a definite place to try when you are in Duluth!!!

This was our first time to Hanabi. Ambience is functional and a bit underwhelming. Service was fine, but the food did take a bit of time, which was surprising based on the busyness of the restaurant. Food was quite tasty and the price was pretty fair.
