Everyone I know loves Panda's orange chicken. I find it too sweet and prefer the teriyaki chicken without the sauce. We got the Walnut shrimp this time--one walnut half, but good-sized shrimp in a good sauce. Located in a strip mall, there is ample parking. The eating area is mostly well lighted by the front windows. Panda offers a good variety of meat and vegetable dishes, varying in price. You can choose a meal, or get entrees or rice or vegetables by the box. A large box is good for two dinners for my husband. The average box holds two dinners for me. I usually order just the entree since I don't like their fried rice and think their white rice, broccoli, etc are over-priced and are easy to make at home. Sometimes they give you a fortune cookie, sometimes not. I wish they offered won ton soup. Their egg rolls are just so-so. Sometimes the staff is friendly and works quickly offering to get a fresh batch of something if you are willing to wait a couple of minutes, and others offer neither quality. Panda is handy for me, at the corner of Walmart, with easy in and out. I've seen every single parking spot at Panda filled and 8 cars at the drive up on a Friday for lunch.
I had sushi, hot-sour soup, and the âDrunkun Noodleâ. My wife had Chicken Teriyaki which came with rice and a salad with ginger dressing. This place is upscale. The restrooms looked spit-shined.The service was excellent. The food presentation was beautiful. The serving temperature was cold, warm and hot where it should be. The flavors were mouth watering. If you donât like spicy, stay away from the âDrunkun Noodleâ; I loved it. The portion sizes were enough for 1-2, so we brought food home- I eat a lot. I was shocked at the portion sizes. Weâll be back. Glad we tried it.

My wife and I went early on a Friday night, and were seated in one of the booths up front. The first thing we noticed was that the height of the tables in that area are 6-8 inches higher than a normal table height. Since the restaurant wasn't very crowded, we moved to an adjacent booth in hopes that the table was a little lower. No such luck.We were greeted promptly by a server and both of us ordered hibachi chicken and unsweetened tea. I ordered the large entree and my wife ordered the regular size. Within a few minutes, our salads arrived - basically just lettuce and dressing. It was OK, nothing special. After we were done with our salads, our entrees arrived promptly with huge portions of food! Our plates were loaded with chicken, fried rice, zucchini, broccoli and mushrooms. Everything was very tasty. Since there was so much food and the tables were so high, it seemed like the plate was just inches below my mouth and I was just shoveling in the food! I really should have ordered the regular sized portion, like my wife did. It was so much food, I could not eat it all.All in all, everything was fine though we will probably choose to sit at a regular table and not a booth next time.

I find it funny that a Chinese buffet has a Japanese name (meaning "number 1) - This is a typical Americanized Chinese buffet with some western food such as mac and cheese and chicken tenders (both which are horrible), and more quantity than quality. There are only a few things on the buffet that are decent. I like the peel and eat shrimp the best, but then again, that isn't too hard to mess up. There is a salad bar, sushi, and fruit (mostly canned) and desserts (including ice cream) that are included. They usually have hot and sour soup and egg drop soup, again, both of which are not good. I have traveled Asia extensively and lived there for 11 years, and this is not authentic Chinese or Japanese food. It is about $9 for lunch and $12 for dinner, so you get what you pay for. It is no better or worse than any other typical Chinese buffet in the area and almost identical to the one on Exeter Rd. in Germantown that closed last year. Servers constantly watch you eat and most of the time are fast to remove dirty plates, but also fast to hurry you up and pay once they have seen you eating dessert. There is no rating for between poor and average and that is what I would give it for an overall rating.

Can't get any better than here! Many choices, including local flavor combos, that will keep you coming back to try them all. Love the marinated carrot & spiced peanuts put on the table before you order. Nice bar selection, good plum wine and martinis.

Great service every time. But the sushi is nothing special. We have tried lunch, dinner and take out. Average number of choices but nothing great in the speciality roll department.

This used to be one of our favorite Japanese restaurants. My daughter chose to come here for her birthday celebration. It had been about a year since coming due to other restaurants being closer to us in Bartlett area. First we noticed the prices had increased. Then when we went to order, the waitress asked if we wanted soup or salad. In the past, each entree came with both, not one or the other! My husband waited a good twenty minutes after our drinks were brought out before he had to ask the hostess at the door if he could get him the Splenda for his tea he asked for. Probably the last time we will eat there with increased prices and less food when we can do better other places for just as good of food.

As a frequent traveler, I have visited numerous Japanese restaurants over the years. we had a group of 7 who ordered various dishes at lunch to include sashimi and selected rolls. Quality was generally good to some very good but not with the real freshness and detail to be considered excellent. Service was very good and pricing was reasonable. I would try again for lunch when i visit my son's family again in Colliersville.

Our first time here. Our group came in for dinner. Very warm welcome from the hostess. Seated immediately. Restaurant was packed. Kelsey, our waitress was professional and knowledgeable. Our appetizers and our entrees were delicious and prepared perfectly. Save room for the Mango Pie.
