We have returned to Bengal Spice for our takeaways after trying another place and can whole heartedly say this food is so much better, tastier and larger than any other Indian in Clevedon. We will not go anywhere else again for our takeaways and encourage anyone else to try the chicken shashlik which is amazing!

My husband, Andy, has a cousin who lives in beautiful Clifton. She told us that this part of Bristol would love a Thai restaurant like ours. So we put one in! We really enjoyed turning what was a square box into âa feast for the eyesâ as someone put it. Y
We dropped in to this very smart and very busy South East Asian restaurant for supper on Friday.Nice decor and great buzzing atmospheres, 6:30pm and already packed out . You have to book and agree 2hr time limit on table .Really nice waitresses who go out of way to explain menu and serve you . Nice Thai beer for me , cocktail for the misses . Satay for 2 then a red Thai curry for her Satay for me then a beef dish , hot and spicy . I had a glass of white with my main course . Good wine list with lot by the glass . Very interesting Jasmin rice ice cream , enough for 2 . £72 which we thought good value for 3 courses and drinks in Clifton . I really liked this place as did my wife . Doing storming business all tables in use by 7 , Deliveros going out constantly and a line of punters waiting for take always . Only slight criticism was after first hour they speed things up to make sure you go , could jar a bit but we were wanting a quick turn around ourselves . We would go back .

The Mint Room, Bristol, is a stone's throw from the village, the world-famous suspension bridge, and the bustling 'triangle'. With a constantly evolving menu, the Mint Room is at the forefront of innovative and inspired Indian cuisine in the South West. W
We had dinner here on 12th October having driven from London to treat my mum for her birthday. From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional, attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant itself is nicely laid out and I'd say this was a great restaurant for a date as the lighting and ambience could be quite romantic. Everything we ate was delicious, highlights included the onion bhaji and the Halibut but really everything was lovely. Drinks were great too and they offered fab non-alcoholic alternatives. The staff are incredibly accommodating and have great knowledge about the menu. Overall this was a great experience which we will repeat.

An excellent restaurant, very well cooked delicious food in a smart modern setting. The staff are efficient and polite.
Been here a few times and we always have a good meal. We were a party of five all with very different requirements and they looked after all of us very well. We chose quite a wide range of dishes and were happy with all of them.

We are a privately owned restaurant operating since 1992. Junior Poon never been about stars, glitz or gimmicks. It's about the simple old fashion traditional qualities that really matters most to their guests - serving well cooked exquisite classic food
Yet again Excellent food and excellent staff. A particular mention for Patrick who was exceptional. He was able to advise on the dishes and knew them very well indeed which with a vast menu is very impressive. He was very very polite indeed. Every member of staff we encountered was too class. The food was yet again very very good indeed. I had my favourite crispy lamb as one of the courses and it was so succulent and full of flavour. Highly recommend. Thank you for your kind review.Pleased to hear that you have found all our staff to be how they should be. We always strive to provide the best for all our customers.Thank you for recommending us and we look forward to be of service to you again soon.

Authentic Indian cuisine
The Thursday night banquet @ £11.95 p.p.remains first and "primus inter pares" amongst the Bagladeshi/Indian restaurants in Clevedon for giving good value for money. There is an extensive choice on the menu, it's a comfortable place to find and the service is usually good.
