Had a selection of tapas (small plates). Flamenquines (breaded pork filled with ham and Manchego cheese), Raxo (pork cubes with fried potatoes and sweet peppers), and a few others. Very satisfying. Good caipirinhas (Bazilian drink) rum, lime juice & sugar.Nice desserts too. Service was attentive and friendly.

Three of us stopped here while driving through. I ordered the special with coconut soup, shrimp shumai, and pad thai. The soup was good enough; the shumai was undercooked and tasted like frozen pre-made. The pad thai was okay. My daughter had chicken satay; she didn't finish it. My wife had drunken noodles that were passable but uninteresting. Our waitress was nice, but it was hard to get her attention since she was always in the other room.

Dined here the other night, and I would rate this place a solid average. We tried the appetizer sampler, it was OK, although I've had better spring rolls. The sa-te was pretty good though. For entrees, we tried a chicken curry dish, and the pad woonsen. Again, the food was OK, but I would not say top-notch. The traditional Thai flavors just seemed somewhat weak. Our waitress was friendly, and service was good (restaurant was empty when we arrived). I might return here again, to try some of the other dishes, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

I was thrilled when I found out the ginger dressing was NOT filled with mayonnaise, as most other places in the area now serve. They have decided to go for cheap fillers vs authentic ginger dressing:( So sad. The asians don't even eat mayonnaise! urgh.We tasted the salad and dropped our forks. Stale something. Didn't help that there was no mayo. Our server was not able to answer any questions about anything, and she is the daughter of the owner:( We got up and left, not even feeling kind enough to pay for the salad. It was that bad.

First, the "management photo" of "beef pho" looks totally different from the actual product. The management photo has a light colored broth with both brisket and rare beef. Photos from reviewers look totally different/ including mine. The broth is a dark color (I've never seen with pho before) and was almost sweet. Simply horrible. I don't know what's wrong with it but I couldn't eat it. The basil/lime/sprouts accompaniment was drab and tired. I am giving 2 rather than one star since the beef (only one type) was of decent quality and quantity. The interior is cute enough. My eating companion couldn't eat his curry. The sauce is like mucous. The chicken was a weird grilled type and texture I have never had in Vietnamese curry. I ate pho every day in Vietnam for 2 weeks just last year. Early this month I ate pho 3 times in 5 days in Germany. I eat pho locally (elsewhere) pretty much every week. This was truly terrible. It smells good from the parking lot but.... I am so disappointed as I'd probably be going every week if it were good. I have never written a review so soon after eating. People need to know the truth before they go.

We went to Ichiro for my daughters birthday after reading some good reviews. We were rather disappointed with selections of sushi and other dishes we ordered. Service was not very prompt either.I doubt we will go back there again.

Tonightâs visit was our first and certainly will not be our last. We are curious to try everything on their menu. Their âginger dumplingsâ with a perfect accompanying sauce, is a must! The Spring Rolls were superior. A very tasty âSticky Beefâ appetizer, tender beef on a stick, was 90% super, but, unfortunately about 10% tough gristle. Hopefully they can fix that. Tracy, our very friendly server, was very helpful. As to atmosphere, it could not be more basic. The noise level is high. The restaurant is BYO, which is a plus. (If you forgot to bring a bottle of wine with you, we noticed that there is a shop next door.)

We were in the area for another reason and stopped in for dinner after reading all the positive reviews. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The carpaccio appetizer was beautifully presented and delicious. The mini soup dumplings were fun and tasty. The rolls were creative and the quality of the fish was very good (an important standard to us). We did think that the rice was too cold and the wrong consistency (not sticky enough). Also a turn off to us seeing an ungloved Sushi chef pressing rice into our rolls. Maybe gloves are not a common practice in CT??

Went for the first time on a Thursday evening and enjoyed our sushi. Nice atmosphere, servers were pleasant and accommodating, even willing to request a custom roll for us, which was delicious. My only complaints are that the rolls are relatively small for the price ($16-$18 per roll). The size reminded me more of grocery store sushi rolls in comparison to the larger, more lush and full rolls we have at Kumo and Yokohama in New Milford for example. The rolls felt a bit skimpy. Also, it kind of stuck in my craw that I was charged for a refill on my unsweetened ice tea, which I find to be quite unusual, for any restaurant.
