Established in 1964 as a development town, Karmiel is located in the Beit HaKerem Valley which divides upper and lower Galilee. The city is located south of the Acre-Safed road, 32 kilometres (20 miles) from Safed and 20 km (12 miles) from Ma'alot-Tarshiha and 20 km (12 mi) from Acre. In 2016 Karmiel had a population of 45,300.

A good place for hummus (several kinds). You may have majadra and Arabic salads. A simple place with no pretensions to be more. If these are your modest expectations, than you will enjoy your visit. The omelet with herbs was much too salty.

It is a fish restaurant, with standard fish dishes, together with the standard grilled meat menu. The dinner start with a long list of fresh salads, filled and replaced when one of the salad plates becomes empty. Nothing special, just simple good, fresh and tasty.The main course came out just in time, after cleaning the salads and the refills. The fishes and shrimps feel an look and taste also fresh, prepared according to the books.The price is reasonable, the service is polite, and professional. Guest are coming and going, the cleaning staff constantly cleans the tables and the floor. Diners are from all corner of the county, all the ages, small families, older couples, anyone with a hungry stomach.It is a large restaurant, a number of rooms, and tables, but seems full all time, so better to reserve places. Highly r3commended.

Me and my wife arrived there in the middle of the week and found alot of place to sit and relax.The atmosphere is very very authentic and the menu is readible with a very fair prices.As per the pizza, one word -> WOW!!!Easily the best pizza we ever had (including pizza we had in Napoli).The Calzone with Asado meat was very tasty and my wife has a geen pizza which was very delicios.

The food just tastes very nice place and the service is excellent and the prices are really cheap.Not that the power to specify very convenient to get to the restaurant is located right on the main road and parking lot and convenient for everyone. In addition, eat and enjoy stunning countryside

Well, why 3 of 5 when it's called a chef restaurant?We were 5 friends to a have a small meal and to discuss as we do once a week...We brought our bottle of wine...The dishes were quite tasty to all of us...but the big problem that everyone of us ate alone!? Cause the dishes didn't come together for all of us but came about 15 minutes between each dish...When we asked why the dishes aren't coming as expected, the nice waitress said that the family that came after us ordered main dishes so they received their dishes in advance!!?At the end as a compensation they gave us a reduction of 5%...Bufff...We sure won't come again...JB

Visited the Mjdala restaurant on a Friday night with family.The place was full.We started with Maza Mjdala which is a combination of local salads and starters, this was certainly the highlight of the meal with very well made Fatush salad, Gargir salad, and other great opening dishes.The main courses were all good, recommended is the steaks from aged meat.The cost was very low ~NIS 100 per person.All in all very good return.
