We have visited the Zachary Chiliâs several times and have never been impressed. The food is good, but the service is bad, and apparently they share their womenâs restroom with a truck stop (so I have been told several times, though I can only vouch for the menâs room, which is ok). Yesterday was a prime example of our experiences there. I enter the restaurant and there is no one to greet me. I wait. I wait. I open the door for some ladies as they leave. I wait. I open the door for another departing lady. I wait. Finally someone comes and seats me...even though I have watched as several employees with their âMARG Madnessâ shirts went by. Then we were seated for a goodly while before our waitress came. Then we got a good wait for her to come back. Then she got our order wrong. Then we got to wait some more for our check and some to go boxes. This isnât a one time thing, it has been fairly consistent with our visits there. Even ordering ahead to pick up has been bad. Once I placed an order to pick up, ready in 30 minutesâ30 minutes later I was at the restaurant and was treated to an hour long wait. Again, we like the food. And they participate in an airline loyalty program that I belong to, so I get miles to eat there. Otherwise I would not be going back. Hi there, weâre really sorry to hear you had a bad experience at this Chiliâs. Weâll make sure to share this feedback with the restaurant so they can improve, We would also love to get in touch with you to earn your business again. Will you give us a call at 1-800-983-4637 so our team can get in touch with you directly? Thanks!
Love Popeyes Chicken but almost everytime I go you have to wait because they are out of chicken. Also before you leave the parking lot open your boxes and make sure you have what you ordered!

The waitresses have always been very friendly and attentive. Really appreciate good Southern service! Have been here a couple times this month and love the atmosphere and the pictures of local plantations on the walls! The grilled fish combo is delicious! But it came with 2 grilled oysters which tasted terrible cooked that way. Other than steering clear of the grilled oysters, everything else was excellent!

I was taken here as a guest. First time at a sports bar. Waitresses were wearing LSU cheerleader costumes. The background music was a little too loud so it was hard to keep a conversation going. Lots of television screens so you could get sensory overload. I had the turkey sandwich and it was quite good. The young black lady who was our server was quite attentive and took care of our needs.

They do get really busy at lunchtime, so I always call our food in. When I'm craving a REAL burger, I order here. Yummy! My 1st review of here was 2 years ago. Happy to say the food and service are still great!!

Went to this place and fell head over heels in love. I had an overstuffed fried shrimp poboy and indeed it was overstuffed and delicious!! The catfish was amazing, it didn't have that super fresh fishy taste and was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Their boudin and alligator balls were also great. My family and I have established an agreement where every time we visit Louisiana, it is a requirement to stop by this place. It's a small restaurant, but the food is great and full of flavor. Don't let the size of the place fool you! I encourage all to try it.

I've been to this restaurant three times and have never been disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and the restrooms are very clean. There is always a steady flow of business as more and more people find out about this quaint, little restaurant. This restaurant serves a combination of soul food and classic comfort food. Today, I went for an early lunch and had their crab burger and onion rings. Of course, it was cooked Louisiana style, but it's the closest thing I've found to the revered Maryland crab cakes. The first time I ate there, I had a grilled shrimp salad (with bacon). It was flavorful and filling. The shrimp were cooked to perfection. I topped it off with bread pudding, which was topped with rum sauce and absolutely delicious. Last Sunday, I had a southern delicacy, chitterlings. They were very clean, tender and flavorful, but expensive, which is understandable because chitterlings are quite labor intensive. No matter what you select, you won't be disappointed. The best thing of all is every second Friday of the month, the restaurant converts to a supper club around 9:45 p.m. They feature excellent live jazz and R&B favorites, but you have to make a reservation because this is standing room only! I am extremely pleased with this restaurant.

Zachary is a small town with not a whole lot to offer in a culinary way, so I am not surprised people are happy with this place. It IS better than fast food. First off...my wife is born and bread Southern Louisiana. Her review..."Yuk." Add insult to injury, our server would flat disappear at times and it took forever to get our food. The place was not busy. The only saving grace was they had some excellent Louisiana brews on tap. I have been to other Sammy's. The food was slightly better, but the service was much much better.
