I was in town on business for a couple days and stayed in the hotel behind Denny's. I ordered the Moons Over My Hammy with Hashbrowns. It's an egg, cheese with ham sandwich. The Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and the sandwich was toasted evenly. Overall great visit but my waitress was awesome very polite and kept my drink full at all times. Will be back once I return to Scottsburg.
The hometown atmosphere found at the Yellow Brick is welcoming..the food and service is always on point and you make new friends every time you walk through their doors. It is our small town treasure!

I visit small towns all across Indiana to photograph the town squares at dusk, and usually try to eat at one of the local establishments to get the whole 'local' feel. I did not expect Hardy's Cafe (also a bar next door) to be open since I was in town on a Sunday evening after 8pm, but Hardy's was open. I went in to use the restroom and was greeted by a very friendly bartender. I purchased burger & fries and it was very good. Not spectacular, but better than average for a bar. But some 'local' bars do not seem as friendly to out-of-towners, Hardy's is very friendly. I'd advise a stop-in if you're in the area.

OK, had gotten stuck on highway for 4 1/2 hours, and skipped eating, so we were HUNGRY. Everythign for everyone was made correctly, everything was served promptly. Food was hot, steaks were prepared well, and I left happy. I actually will be back in the area in a month, and I plan on stopping in again! Thank you!
Convenient location in the historic downtown courthouse square. Beautifully decorated with an adjoining shop of cool socks and other novelty items. Unending choice of drinks!! Doesn't matter if you're not a coffee drinker (I'm not!) because they can modify any drink. Smoothies, hot chocolate, several breakfast and lunch choices, delicious muffins. Service is great, love this place!

I canât say enough good things about this restaurant. I travel a lot with my work and eat at many restaurants. I usually try to find small cafes because they usually make food more from scratch and homemade. Ponderosa here in Scottsburg has that kind of food. It was excellent and the staff was wonderful. I would give them a 10 rating but they only go as high as 5.

They really have no gluten free choices. They have a lot of fried foods and noodles and things. I ate a grilled chicken salad and it was a good size and the chicken was cooked well. Would eat this again if we go to a Cracker Barrel.

Ordered a "juicy" burger from the menu and was asked how I would like it - medium. Not - over cooked, dry and no juiciness. No sides - no chips - just the dry burger. Thank God for the cheap wine to wash it down. Husband's club sandwich was one layer - just a sandwich really with super thick bread that overwhelmed any of the meat and cheese on it. Pros? It was close to our motel - that's all, folks!
