Casual Dining in a refined atmosphere. The Saint John Marina is the only restaurant on the lower St. John River. Our dining room seats 110 guests with a new riverside patio that seats 65. Enjoy your private meeting/event space in the Sutton's Crossing Ban
This was my first time at this restaurant. It has been recently renovated and it is beautiful. It's a nice atmosphere. We came for my birthday and I was not disappointed. Every single one of us said we would recommend our selections. I had the fish tacos, my husband the mac and cheese with the buffalo chicken and our friends had the blackened chicken with mango salsa and seafood spaghettini. All 4 dishes were spot on. The selection of craft beer was great. I had the blood orange. We all shared the deep fried brownies with ice cream. The ice cream was my only "blah" of my meal and it in now way dampened it. I look forward to coming back to try out more of the menu. This little gem is out of the way on the marina but the outside is set up sweet with gas fire pits and what looks to have a music or entertainment venue.

Very casual spot to enjoy comfort food. The counter service was excellent and patient as we tried to decipherer the best value on their menu. Portions are very substantive, and the French fires are exactly what you want when you choose to indulge. Enjoy!

I had very good breakfasts here - a buffet with a big selection of well prepared food. Friendly and attentive service.Dinners nice - had one of the best veggie burgers ever here. Service at dinner, while charming and efficient, tend to upsell drinks. If you order a cocktail, they always assumed a double. And ordering a glass of wine brought a pitch to buy a bottle and take whatever wasn't consumed back to the room. Not sure how many people drink a bottle per person with dinner...

Pay a visit to AJ's Lounge & Restaurant in Saint John for all-day breakfast, steak, seafood homemade soups and sandwiches, salads, pasta, and delectable deserts and our exclusive kids menu. Come in for friendly service and our famous fish and chips!
Stopped in for sandwiches. They were ok although not sure that the waitress listened to the order- not exactly what we ordered. French fries are frozen heated in oven- ok. But the washrooms are not accessible with a walker and would be totally inaccessible with a wheelchair. Three very small stalls and no room to get around.

Your basic boardgame cafe. Games were relatively new and well organized- but it was so hot in there! They need air-conditioning!Thanks so much Misty,We have no access to the temperature controls and are in constant talks with the building to remedy this issue. I have just shown your review to them in hopes it will drive home our own concerns. Next time you're in, please ask to be seated in the Annex. If there is no private function at the time, we are more than happy to seat your party out there, as it is noticeably cooler. Please enjoy an ice cream or float on us next time you're in! Thank you so much for your feedback! :)

After staying the night at the Delta we opted to dine at MIX RestBar and were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious-best lox bagels in a while and a plentiful breakfast burrito with delicious homemade baked beans. Starbucks coffee was a nice addition. The server, Nancy, was a genuinely hospitable and bubbly start to the day. Would definitely consider trying the restaurant for dinner next time!

We were probably experts on this restaurant when we left St. John because we ate here three times during out three day stay. That's because there weren't a lot of restaurants to choose from in this location. The first time we came I ordered the Chicken Fajita and my husband ordered the Rib Taster. For dessert we ordered 2 Mini's. On this visit our waitress, Rylee, was excellent and did everything she could to everything right. The ribs were good and she brought me extra lettuce instead of tortillas because I asked her to so that I could make a salad out of them. Mini desserts were just right after that big meal. The second time we came back service was terrible. There seemed to be some mix up over who was going to be our waitress, and so no one really took care of us. Finally when they realized it, different people at different times came by, but still no definite waitress. We flagged down someone and ordered 8 wings and an order of cauliflower wings, as well. The food was good, not great, but it took FOREVER to actually get it.Third time should have been a charm, but again, poor service. This time I ordered the Large Cobb Salad with a grilled chicken breast and my husband ordered the Skillet Cookie - which by the way was fantastic! However, again the restaurant which was not very busy at all, fell short on service. One of the advantages of coming here was that the restaurant offered a 10% discount to patrons of the nearby Best Western Hotel or to CAA Members. They could be a five star restaurant if they would just train their staff to be more attentive.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We appreciate it!

Rocky's sports bar an uptown iconic hangout. With some of the best Steaks/ burgers and pub food in NB. Home of the 32 oz mug of ice cold beer and voted Canada's best sports bar on CTV Sportsnet in 2009.
Once you get inside you realize there is lots of room and a wonderful view of the harbour and â foot of King Streetâ. The service was excellent. I was after a very simple and quick meal, they delivered. Even the thick slices of toast were perfectly toasted with butter melting into all the nooks and crannies. It is a sports bar with individual tvâs in your booth! Must come back to try lunch or supper.

We were looking for a âdinerâ for some home cooking and homey environment. We found it. The owner Marge was super friendly. We had pancakes, poached eggs, home fries, English muffins. Fast service and great food! AND reasonably priced. About 7 miles from downtown St. Johnâs. Worth the effort to drive there. Nice experience.
