Reviews on American food in Raymond, Washington, United States. Raymond is a city in Pacific County, Washington, United States. The population was 2,975 at the 2000 census and decreased 3.1% to 2,882 at the 2010 census. The town's economy has traditionally been based on logging and fishing, together with a limited amount of tourism. But recently the town of Raymond has seen an influx of marijuana manufacturing and agricultural jobs after the passing of Initiative 502 in November 2012, which legalized the recreational use of marijuana. Raymond has embraced all aspects of this lucrative, newly-emerging industry by welcoming many new start-up businesses including commercial marijuana grow operations, marijuana-infused goods manufacturing, as well as retail marijuana stores.

Basically a bar with big windows providing an excellent view of the river. The cook prepared extremely fresh local oysters just to our liking, which made the place a true "diamond in the rought".
Amazingly special place to hang out, especially on a rainy weekend day. Stopped in for lunch to escape the afternoon rain. Visiting the area from Lincoln City. Was wearing my Vietnam Marine Corps hat and was so genuinely heartfelt greeted by both staff and locals that it brought tears to my eyes. Was so warm and friendly, so very unexpected, so natural. The food was most excellent as was the local brew. Stayed for over an hour. It felt like home. You guys are beyond compare. Thank you for your sincere handshakes and great conversation. You blew me away. Rick Anderson, Lincoln City, Oregon.

I've been telling friends about this place for years and just realized that I never have given it a review...the hubby and I call the owner "The Oyster Nazi"...based on Seinfelds "Soup Nazi"...he's not the most personable person nor is his wife...but he makes the best grilled oysters we have ever ate...when ever we drive through Raymond, WA we plan to stop by and eat...the drawback is that it's not always open...we caught him once when he wasn't opened and it all has to do with the oysters...if it's off season or not allowed he's closed...if you are driving out of your way just to hit this place you might want to call first...
We were traveling through town and stopped because of decent ratings. It was a Friday night, after big rush had been served, and tables were open. After 40 minutes, the waitress said our "food was coming." She looked panicked, like she had forgotten. At one hour, she said "our bread was on the way." We said we couldn't wait any longer than one hour w/o even getting salads. I've been in busy restaurants where they honestly let you know they're running behind. Big Zero on Service, Misinformation, not a place to stop if passing through.
It's Subway, what can you say. It's not great, it's not horrible. It's better than McDonald's, but it's not as good as a NY Deli sandwich....but what is?? The sandwich meat always scares me and the bread leaves me wanting for more....it's like chinese food....you're hungry 1/2 hour after you've eaten it. But, when they have the $5.00 foot long special, it's not a bad deal in a pinch. It's Subway.

I've been to the Barge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It never disappoints. Now, this is your home-style cooking, not haute cuisine. The view out to the slough is beautiful. There are tablecloths, fresh flowers. Open 6 days a week (except Mondays), and right off Hwy 101 and the Carriage Museum, it's a nice, quiet, peaceful spot to eat.

This little resturant has a great selection of "down home comfort food!" Chicken fried steak with mouth watering gravy, loaded BLT sandwiches and the best breaded fried shrimp you have ever tasted, are only a few of the pleasing palate treats! Breakfast is the very best, too! You will not go away hungry for sure!

the old school classic rock atmosphere that swaders put soft leaves you in a 1950s euphoric Vibe like you've never believed on top of all sorts of beloved pizzas and different toppings they offer stuff sandwiches calzones and even Greek options definitely check out this place if you're wanting to head back to the 50s and taste what childhood used to be like.

Ate here whilst staying at Inn. From the outside it doesn't look inspiring but interior refurbished with reclaimed timber. there appeared to be a mixture of locals and tourists in pub. Dinner was excellent and good value for money. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
