Ginoâs is the one restaurant I have to go to whenever Iâm visiting my hometown. They have provided consistent food since before I can remember. The catfish sandwich is amazing. It comes with one piece of fish, but if you ask for a large, youâll get two. Itâs not on the menu though. The coleslaw on it is the best and I always add cheese for additional flavor. Ginoâs is also known for its burgers, which are great with chili and coleslaw added. The drive-through can be slow if there are several cars. However, thatâs fine because I always get hot, fresh food. On my last visit, I asked if they had lemonade. The lady said yes and I ordered it. When she passed me the drink, I asked why it was pinkish. She told me it was pink lemonade. That would have been nice to know before I ordered it. There was also something floating in it, so thatâs the reason for the 4 star review. Next time, Iâll just drink something at home lol.
Pleasantly surprised about the food and service.. The fish, cod I believe, is much better than Long John Silvers. About the right amount of breading. Good selection of sides. I chose green beans and steamed broccoli. Hush pups could have been cooked a little longer.

New to the area and needed an early dinner, so steered here from Tripadvisor! We had the fried green tomato appetizer (a little different for us midwesterners, but very good!) For dinner I had the catfish lafitte, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife had shrimp pasta ... overload on the portion, but she did like it very much. Restaurant is located in a repurposed old Sears building in downtown Greenville. Nicely redone with bare red brick walls and an interesting decor. Maybe a little pricey ... but we did enjoy ourselves.
Ate there many times over the years, uses good frozen veggies, good meats, love their food. They do a great lunch business. Evening business is just so so. I had the Chicken Fried Steak which was 2 pieces of cubed pork (I believe). Good flavor and tender. Served with brown (?) gravy. Most places use a white County Gravy. Onion rings were just the average bought rings served with a ranch dressing. Wife had the broiled shrimp and baked potato. Got 9 medium shrimp that were cooked good with a little cajun seasoning. The salads were fresh and crisp. It was all OK, not outstanding but OK.

Locally Owned Neighborhood Restaurant Serving The Mississippi Delta Since 1947.
Family ate there on two occasions. All food (steaks, fish, pasta. salads) was very good and the restaurant appeared to be nice and clean. Service was generally good but we had a few mishaps. As the waitress was clearing our table she accidentally spilled a container of liquid butter on my coat. She was obviously in a hurry and rushed to another table without saying a word. It was not a big deal but I thought she could at least apologize. The second night we dined there the service was somewhat slow. The cashier explained that one of their waitresses had called in sick.

The salad and tamales were fantastic. The staff was very nice. But for $65 the porterhouse was lackluster. Requested medium rare, one side was medium and the other side was rare, and it was fatty with a lot of gristle. Not a destination eatery but if you are passing thru worth a visit. Almost everyone else there was sticking with salad and tamales.
Breakfast in a real, live working laundromat? Yes, please! My husband goes here whenever possible and i go less often because I end up eating way too much. The bright pink midtown laundromat isn't your usual brunch spot, but home cooked eggs, bacon, grits, and pancakes for about $3 and friendly staff makes it worth anyone's while. This regular says Definitely get the pancakes.

We ate here after touring the Kermit the Frog Museum and had a terrific meal. The catfish was delicious! You can tell it's where all the locals eat. Service was friendly and quick.
